Thank you for the kind words! At the beginning I thought the pieces I had selected for transcribing would not garner any attention. I'm happy that some of you like these projects and would like to try them. Really big thanks for the support! FELT piano arrangements are great. I sometimes prefer them to their respective counterparts lol.

Thank you! If you are talking about the ones I have covered, it would probably come down to a three-way tie between Story (by FELT), Shanghai Teahouse and Oriental Sky of Scarlet Perception. I think I had the most fun transcribing these pieces.

This is a new format that I have wanted to try for a long time. Vocaloid (and also voiceroid) work surprisingly well in vocal covers. I guess this style will be my main stay if I am to transcribe touhou vocals again (but not the editing style. I don't really have time for that again...) And for piano transcriptions I think my next few projects are all piano solos. I don't see myself working on vocals again until next year maybe. Also I wonder which TAMusic arrangement you are currently working on. Good luck too lol

To be honest the quality of my performance does not come remotely close to Marasy8's version, I still want to thank you for your kind words nonetheless. I think I learned this piece some years ago (I think around 8 years ago when I was still in high school). I was obsessed with this piece and put a month's time of effort into practising this. This version of bad apple remains as a showpiece. When my friends ask me to play them a tune, this would be my go-to option. With that all said, the left hand part is unnecessarily difficult. If you want a simplified version where the left hand need not do such a tedious job, tell me and I will post a simplified version on my drive. As for the amount of time required to learn this piece, it depends on your level. If you are a complete beginner to piano, you may want to start with other easier pieces. Just ask me for advice if you really want to play this version.

It's certainly interesting to compare your latest work and your first project and see how much you have improved from time to time. I think you have also come a long way in terms of making sheet music more accessible by performers too, with clearer markings and more accurate instructions in your recent projects! With that said, I still feel the need to further refine my work, and MS is yet to be used to its full potential..

@@radiancal9071 Thank you for the kind words! I feel the same; I need to improve my score engraving, especially the proofreading aspect of it (my quality is inconsistent... Lol). I'm also waiting for MS4 to reintroduce the piano roll and better dynamics editing, so I can finally do my projects there instead of using MS3 😅

Thank you! Identifying time signatures in this one can be really tricky, but it should be more straightforward once the chords have been written down. Notating this piece would prove to be a much bigger trouble. The difficulty lies in the fact that ideas regarding how the piece should be played is hard to be translated into words that can be understood by performers. I still think there is room for improvement in this aspect. (If you have any suggestions on improving the notations used in this piece please tell me lol) And for soundfonts I think F380 works best amongst my collection of soundfonts. It is well balanced in this piece except for that ff part... If you have better soundfonts do let me know lol.

@@radiancal9071 I recommend the Salamander Grand Piano(Sampled Yamaha C5) if you want a more balanced soundfont. It doesn't sound as harsh as the F308, but obviously less powerful since it is a Baby Grand (The Fazioli is a 10ft grand lol). There's also the alternative of external rendering using plogue sforzando / garritan aria player, since both soundfonts I mentioned have an SFZ version available, which have better quality samples. Simply load a sfz file and midi and adjust the sound however you like. I used to use this method for my transcriptions before moving to Garritan CFX (wow thats a mouthful LOL. sorry if you're a bit lost reading it) Also, I don't think I have any advice for notating this piece, I find it quite legible myself, and there aren't any parts where I would do things differently... P.S Good Luck with med school! I'm also in the same boat here with my film studies. It's getting harder to upload videos every 2 weeks :(

Thank you for the comment and sorry for the belated reply. For the karaoke arrangements I have considered making separate scores for solo performances, but due to an ever-expanding list of songs that I want to transcribe (and also a very tightly-packed schedule in university this year) that remained a consideration. Perhaps it will be done one day when I have a long holiday, but for the upcoming months I don't think that would be possible.

You are right about the layout. Actually I did notice this while I was transcribing the piece with reference to classical writings. I guess I somehow forgot to correct this afterwards. Silly me :P definitely something to take note of in the future.

@@radiancal9071 I forgot about one thing: you mentioned a discord server in the description. is it a touhou music server? if yes then is it okay if i ask for an invite?

It's a server for discussions on miscellaneous topics (chatting, games, drawings and stuff) but they have disabled invite links recently. The primary language used in the server is not English as well. Sorry about that
