The important thing is to travel. It doesn't matter how or where, what matters is to get out of your "comfort zone" and explore what's out there. It is the only way we have to expand our life into space and overcome the boundaries of our mind.
You can travel in many ways, by any common or original means. Any destination will be fine, even a few kilometers from home. Any place we don't know is worth the trip. And if we cannot physically travel, then it is also good to travel with the imagination, leafing through a travel magazine, reading a book or, why not, watching videos on the net.
In this channel you will find my travel experiences. From Sicily, my native land so rich in wonders that not even those who live there can say they know them all, to where I will have the good fortune to go. I'll try to tell by images what my eyes will have seen, without prejudice or presumption. For passion, only for passion.
So, if you like the channel, please subscribe to stay tuned.

TELEGRAPH COVE: not just whale-watching on JOHNSTONE STRAIT! British Columbia by motorhome ep.4
In this 4th episode, we go to visit the old village of Telegraph Cove nestled on the shores of Johnstone Strait, the long channel that separates Vancouver Island from a series of smaller islands and the continental coasts of British Columbia.
We leave the Alder Bay RV park early in the morning and dedicate the day to visiting this location, one of the most famous in the north of Vancouver Island.
Telegraph Cove is a settlement of wooden stilts that arose at the beginning of the twentieth century around the telegraph station that connected this wild area with the south of the island. The small village was essentially home to the workers of a company dedicated to canning salmon.
The production activity ceased in the 80s but Telegraph Cove has survived thanks to its magnificent position on the shores of Johnstone Strait, which make it a privileged destination for whale-watching enthusiasts.
The town today is home to a resort, a small marina, an RV park and the headquarters of some tour operators that offer boat, kayak or off-road excursions. Beyond this, the village, built on wooden stilts, is perfectly preserved. Walking along its walkways you get a clear image of how people once lived in this remote place. At the time, every productive activity in the far west of Canada had to be almost self-sufficient and companies had to organize every aspect of logistics, from energy to transportation, from communications to infrastructure for personnel.
During the summer, Johnstone Strait is home to a large colony of Orcas and for this reason the Robson Bight Ecological Reserve was established, a protected marine area where researchers study the behavior of these magnificent cetaceans.
Not only orcas, however, the population of whales resident all year round has made Telegraph Cove an ideal base for their observation. Not to mention the numerous colonies of sea lions, sea otters, puffins, white-headed eagles, etc. For “wildlife” enthusiasts, there is plenty to enjoy!
And for those who have time (and money!), there are also Grizzlies that hunt salmon in the waters of the inland streams. After all, this is the land of bears, as the numerous signage panels distributed almost everywhere remind visitors.

Toujour.
