And if we cannot physically travel, then it is also good to travel with the imagination, leafing through a travel magazine, reading a book or, why not, watching videos on the net.

From Sicily, my native land so rich in wonders that not even those who live there can say they know them all, to where I will have the good fortune to go. Canada's Inside Passage on a Port Hardy to prince Rupert fery. British Columbia by motorhome. Ep. 6
The Canada Inside Passage, also known as Canadian Inland Passage, is a long natural canal that runs along the western coast of British Columbia and can be traveled by BC Port Hardy to Prince Rupert ferry. The Canadian Inside Passage is part of the larger waterway that extends from Alaska in the north to Washington State (USA) in the south.
In addition to being the best solution for moving with your own vehicle from Vancouver to northern British Columbia, the Inside Passage is characterized by the extraordinary beauty of the landscapes that can be admired during the crossing. The canal, several hundred kilometers long, runs between islands and fjords of the mainland, mostly wild and uninhabited, covered in forest as far as the eye can see and surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks.
Sailing along the Inside Passage is an exciting experience, so much so that the canal has now entered the routes of numerous cruise companies.
In this video, after leaving our campsite in Port McNeill on Vancouver Island, we will reach Port Hardy and from there we will board the Northern Adventure, a large BC Ferries ferry that, traveling along the Canadian Inside Passage, will disembark us in Prince Rupert, in the far north of British Columbia. From here, after a short stop, we will re-embark on the same ship to reach the archipelago of Haida Gwaii (also known as the Queen Charlotte Islands), disembarking in Skidegate (in the next episode).
The Northern Adventure is a beautiful ship equipped with cabins and lounges for passengers, a good restaurant, a souvenir shop, spaces for children and splendid panoramic points from which to observe the surrounding landscape. It is a rather busy route, also because it is the shortest way to travel along the Canadian west coast, so it is essential to book well in advance if you also want to board your vehicle (car or camper). BC Ferries offers an excellent call center through which you can make the reservation. We found an operator who even spoke Italian!

My maiden name is Gangi...I can not help but think of the movie The Godfather. I am not so sure it is our correct last name but maybe the city my great grandparents came from.

captivating photography at the opening of this film. engaging narrative of the history and origin of the old village of Telegraph Cove. wow Johnstone strait is a fantastic location for watching not just whales but other wildlife. the old village itself converted into a resort with some houses that are authentic, ancient and historic is a picturesque place that is worth checking out before going whale-watching or bear sighting. what camera did you use, the pictures are so stunning. the boat ride looks so much fun and the scenery in this natural landscape is breathtaking and with the wildlife around, it's mesmerizing. thank you for taking me along with you, in this beautiful place in British Columbia. I was astonished after attempting to explore the possible meaning with the name Enna after I typed my first name in reverse. I never expected that the location existed in a place like Sicily, Italy since I went to Italy in 1993 before I moved to San Francisco from Concord, California. The beauty of it is phenomenal especially I pretty much heard everything about Sicily from a comic tv series called ‘The Golden Girls’ about a group of elderly women who were either widowed or divorced, living together as roommates in a house located in Miami, when the actual house that was filmed in the series opening was located in Los Angeles. I never expected by a strange sense of coincidence that Enna is Italian in origin. My name was spelled backwards in a birthday book I received many years ago from my maternal grandparents. As a result, I’m so intrigued.
So it's time to come back in Italy and visit Sicily. It is one of the most visited region in Italy, full of attractions and perfect for vacation or living. Of course, while in Sicily you could visit Enna, one of the oldest town with a several thousands years history.
