For the record, the reason i didn't go bang on his door and demand my children back is that a)as their is no court order the police cannot remove the children from either parent if both are present when they attend the call for assistance to remove the children back to the other coparenting unit who is documented as the custody holder at that time. B) Dave works 20 minutes away, you get police response quicker that dont want to confirm the adress is on the same phone cable as my old address. C) all that would have happened is at an age too young to process they would then believed I had no way to keep them as safe as i can in our circumstances.
