We stayed up in the hills, in a b and b, hotel the walls were 9ft thick and i remember it had a well..

Went there on my honeymoon 40years ago, but my controller husband justwanted to drive around the countryside and we walked to the foot of Snowden which took 3 hours to get there...so.....it's lovely to see around the town i never got to see ...thank you .

u should have walked around the Wold - some nice buildings down there, incl thatched farms and Rothchilds place - she threw me out once when I took the car down (looking at the Stables which was being converted) - brusque and unpleasant

i believe the murder was at the round house, half way to the Wold

The sand stone house with the drive way on the right just after the first two cottages is the house I grew up in!!!! Loved living and growing up in Warkton and being able to either go for a walk across the fields or along past the river…good times!!!

Lavenham also known as Cone Head Central OR The land of the people with Webbed Fingers and toes !!!It was where they filmed the TV series Lovejoy was it not ? I would consider it a town not a village .It;s a bit large for a village ! But wikipedia and the internet says it's a village!
