When i sore my EJ i had a HR ; HJ one tonner and a vc commie . I always wanted a EJ as mum had one when i was a kid and this was the same colour inside and out so it just had to come home with me.

really interesting - thanks - yes I have a woodgrain Caprice dash with a clock where the tacho normally goes - guessing that to be HQ-J because it's got the older Caprice symbol. It's not perfect - missing a little lens but certainly would restore well. Just sitting here though as my car has a WB interior. Thanks again for the video!

Sweet van! I've heard a 400-500cfm Holley carby works magic on the 253 V8 for both economy and performance if you drive it a lot.

In 77 I had a HD van with HR guards and grille, then an early Transit with Holden red, powerglide and mk.2 Zephyr diff, then lwb Bedford w/202 & 4 speed, now late model Transit. Bitten by the bug...

Nice work Building a van myself, not a Sandman, too many pureists out there to have too deal with bullshit about vin numbers and rego'd 2 seater arguments. so Im going for a basic clean van look. Its alaways good 2 see the old cars rebuilt.
