Hello everyone. I travel the country delivering fur babies all over the place. In my line of work you get to see the places that make this Country great. So here are my adventures and life in video. MacCready Reserve 7-5-24
This is a forest reserve that was once a tree farm owned by the MacCready Family for multiple generations. It is managed by MSU.

Some time in the garden. Squirrels, rabbits and birds. Oh! And a shrew. Using the GoPro to get in and see all of the visitors enjoying the shade and bird seed.

This is the American Wood Rim Company historic site at Awakon Park. It is the ruins of company buildings.
A walk on the Grand Haven Pier 7-3-24

A quick walk out to the end of the pier. I wanted Butch's Beach Burritos and it's here. So..... It's on the mouth of the Grand River. It features two lighthouses and the catwalk. You can also see the North pier.
Rowdy Bend Trail 1-30-24

This trail is wet, uneven and full of wildlife. It is accessible from the Main Park Rd. {State Highway 9886} Depending on the season the trail can be flooded over and a wet walk. Awakon Park is a privately owned and maintained park in Onaway, Michigan. Snake Bight Trail 1-30-24

This is a strait, multi use trail through the tropical hardwood hammock, out to the boardwalk that stretches out into the bight. A bight is a curve or recess in a coastline. The body of water at the end is the Rabbit Key basin. Grand Rapids Lantern Festival 5-26-24

After a long day up in around Onaway and seeing the sites. One more adventure before the end of day. We walk through the Festival starting "underwater" and walking up to the grasslands". The lanterns were made by Tianyu Arts & Culture.
Underground Little Ocqueoc River 5-26-24

This is where the Little Ocqueoc River rises and flows out to the Ocqueoc River. You can see it come out of the ground or hills around you. It's very beautiful. Lots of mosquitos so bring the bug spray.

I take a walk out on the Pier at Juno Beach. The Sun is blazing and the wind is up. Lots of anglers and birds all around. Also a look under the pier and the shells on the beach.

I hope you enjoyed your time at Cuyahoga Valley National Park! It's the kind of park that surprises a lot of people, and is worth a second or third trip back, if you didn't get a chance to explore all of it. Definitely check out the trails in and around the Ledges, as well as the Oak Hill and Plateau trails. Everett Covered Bridge is also one of the prettiest spots in the park.
