Top 5 WR and RB Rankings for Winning Your League: 2024
I wonder how it will go once they have to play the Vikings and packers and lions twice. Plus Seattle and niners for the last 5 matchups of the year.
@@bullshark3771 Absolutely, it’ll be interesting. Great run defense but terrible pass defense. This is a great item to discuss. You cool if we bring this up in our next video? Well give you a shout out
@ yeah for sure. You can bring it up.
@@FantasySyndicate I actually traded swift for Adams with this in mind since I had hunt pollard and Henry at HB and nacua, mhj, and lamb at receiver.
@ That’s sick. Sounds like a stacked team lol
@ baker mayfield, Mahommes, kittle, hockenson, engram. And I also have dowdle. I’m first in my league at 7-1, non-ppr, made some great waiver pickups like baker hunt and nacua who was dropped after his injury. It’s a 10 person league. Broncos D was a waiver pickup so was Vikings D after week 1.
Especially in full ppr!!
Oh yeah!!
Traded Najee for him today
@@Mrcubes1000 huge win even though you have to deal with the injury. They said it was grade 1, so it should be 1-3 weeks before he comes back. Either way, congrats
Got davante Adam’s for him
So did I. I’m wondering if I made the wrong choice. I already have MHJ, nacua and lamb but swift was my flex behind Henry and pollard in a non-ppr and I also have hunt.
Given the unfortunate outcome of the Bucs MNF game, where would you rank the Bucs pass catchers amongst your other waiver wire pickups? Who do you like the most? McMillan has flashed a little early in the season. Maybe even Cade Otton suddenly enters the mid TE1 convo. Especially if Mike Evans goes to IR.
@nickslusser5239 Josh here. Otten is TE1 pickup if on waivers imo. McMillan, Shepard, then Palmer but all saw a huge increase in usage. McMillan has more deep ball threat usage which is why I have him over Palmer. Shepard should slot into slot role. But, I think the Bucs/Cheifs/ Niners will be forced and want to go out and get someone. Options: Cooper Kupp, D-Hop, Mike Williams, Courtland Sutton, Diontae Johnson, Tee Higgins, Dontayvion Wicks, Darius Slayton, Tyler Boyd, Christian Kirk. It’s tough to iron down without me doing more research on cap space and picks/value, but if any of these guys are on waivers, I’m adding them for probably free. Perfect opportunity to catch other owners sleeping because they aren’t looking ahead. Low risk, high reward.
Should I try and trade Javonte Williams for dk?
@@deliriousgeorge2879 Absolutely. If you can get that deal done, do it. It’s possible Javonte has another good game against the Panthers next week but that doesn’t mater. Long term, DK is a much better value.
Due to the Cam Akers trade this drops Ty Chandler a bit. This trade makes me think Aaron Jones will be out longer than expected.
The buy low on Amari finally comes to fruition! Buffalo has got to be a better spot than Cleveland. I know you have BTJ as a buy low but I need an RB2. Who is a good trade target if I’m trading him away?
Amari to the moon! Love to see it. Josh here, I'd target Kyren, Gibbs, KWJ, and Mixon in that order. Some of those might be too aggressive but worth a check in. Based on how much time you can manage without a RB JT & Achane would be next. JT will probably miss at least another week. Achane is a huge risk, huge reward play. The second Tua returns, he becomes RB1-3 in my eyes but has been garbage otherwise. You could probably wait to target Achane if you decide to go that direction. If you get KWJ, Charb is a must have handcuff. If you get Kyler, Corum must be handcuffed.
Due to the crazy coaching firing after a win, Breece is now a hold. We could get the league winner we want based on the new coaches focus. Need to wait and see at this point.
Bears figured out how to use swift he isn’t a sell imo. All this Rojo talk (Roschon Johnson) about eating into his workload is just them taking a page out of Detroit’s book. Wouldn’t you say Detroit has two viable options at rb? Kinda like when Swift and Jamaal Williams were both relevant during their time in Detroit Listen if you’re in dynasty follow the money. Swift will get the touches and most opportunities out of the two. Roschon’s production is touchdown dependent with some receiving upside depending the course of the game.
Thanks for the comment! I think that comparing the Detroit offense to Chicagos is a little overzealous but I get what you’re saying. There have only been three teams through 5 weeks to have 2 viable RBs in the top 30. Detroit (both top 15), Cinci (both top 25), and Seattle (both top 15 solely due to KW injury). Swift losing opportunities at the time was so worrisome. This is why I made my suggestion based on stats & gameplay. Chicago and Swift have benefited greatly from bad defenses and good game script (Rams- worst, Panthers- terrible, Jags- terrible, upcoming Arizona- bad). I think that once they start playing better defenses it’ll be a different story. This is why I shared my sentiment about selling high and still believe in it as the season goes on. What I will say is that I was definitely too early due to SOS, but still think he’s a sell high candidate as they move into stronger defense in my eyes. Again, appreciate you commenting and giving me a different perspective. Love it!
The Cowbell player? Lol ...Dont u mean the bell cow player!
@@donsaxby7845 I like to keep everyone on their toes. Lol That’s how far from a bell cow he has been this year 🤣
So u post after they have a good game. Cool thanks for the common sense stuff
Video went up days ago. But thanks for watching! Check back next week for more incredibly accurate predictions!!
@@FantasySyndicate you just popped up in the timeline. Don’t worry won’t happen again.
Great video guys. I love that Bigsby was almost an instant bust last season and now he’s balling. Kind of reminds of Ayuik’s turn around. Really goes to show how much of a difference one year can make. A lot of these rookies just need time to cook.
Guy was bad last year. Those year 2 running backs seem to find a way.
After he torches the panthers, SELL SELL SELL!
Breece is a must hold unless you’re 0-5 or 1-4. You won’t get enough value out of him in a trade.
It absolutely depends on the league, but you should still be able to get an elite level player for him that you like. We will be adding something similar to this on our website in the coming months, but this can help you see the value he still nets in trades can be elite level: fantasycalc.com/database. Historically young/ rookie running backs who are doing well, get more involved as the season goes on, not less. Bucky is a perfect example of this, and the way Braelon Allen has been playing, it's fitting that narrative. Waiting seems risky and I don't think 1 boom game from him will drastically increase his value.
This aged poorly
@@KippingItRealcrossfit Aged perfectly. Mentioned this Panthers matchup being optimal. Roschon still eating into his work. Still a sell high player in my mind. This just makes his value better
You’re telling me he’s still gonna suck for 4 more games? Well my season will be over
@@bailoch yep, championships are won in weeks 5-9. My apologies
@@FantasySyndicateno apologies needed, 24 and 29 points 😂
The Jets are -100 according to Vegas to trade for Davante Adams.
@@nevermind2886 posted this before the rumor started, but he’s still a buy low in my mind. Think Davonte/ Waddle vibe if that happens. He’s not as valuable but still viable
That’s right
Let’s go
Appreciate the shoutout gentlemen! Great analysis this week. 100% agree on Swift. Low key. I think dropping him is better so you can get a solid upside waiver. Sadly I think Zamir is in that boat too. (Sorry Josh). Braelon Allen is the truth. Definitly should be everyone’s priority. Thankfully got him last week in like all of my leagues haha. Starting him over Zamir this week. With confidence!
@@nickslusser5239 Missed so hard on Zamir…so I’m sorry to all, but not giving up just yet. I hope Pierce remembers how he won last year, which was running the ball 20+ times a game with ZEUS
Taylor Swift
Great video again Gents. I know you have Garret Wilson as a buy low. Obviously the dude is a beast. Someone offered me Garret Wilson for Rashee Rice and Jared Goff. ( I have baker). With the Pacheco injury, I’m actually wondering if Garret is truly a better fantasy asset than Rashee. What do you think?
@@nickslusser5239 You have to pick your guy, but we like Rice over Wilson even without Goff. Ones tied to a 40 y/o QB & on the Jets. Other is tied to generational QB on a historically high octane offense who just lost their RB1. Ride with Rice!
Swift or Jeff Wilson?
@@callshotgun If you’re talking about week 2 starters I think it depends what you need for your team. Swift has the higher floor, but Wilson has the higher ceiling IF Achane is out. Wilson is the significantly riskier play. If this is your flex spot or you just need a solid performance, I’d go with Swift due to the higher floor. If it’s your RB1/2 and you need a big game then I’d go with Wilson for the upside play IF Achane is out. Here’s why: The entire fantasy community is split on Wilson or Jaylen Wright right now. All the evidence points to Wilson though. He was the clear RB3 in week 1 with Wright being a healthy scratch for the game. Miami’s playing the Bills and has the second highest o/u in week 2. But this could end up being a split backfield based on what McDaniels wants to do. Both his starters would be out so it would make sense. Only he knows that though but personally I like Wilson. Swift is the clear RB1 in Chicago. While the offense didn’t look great in week 1, they play Houston this week who should put up plenty of points. Swifts upside is his pass catching ability so even if they go down early, he should still be involved.
@@callshotgun Welp Achane is active. You have to go with Swift even though Wilson will still be apart of the game script. Wilsons upside is directly tied to Achanes health.
Trade zeke away for Keon Coleman?
I would take Keon. Dallas rotated drives between Zeke & Dowdle. Zeke had the majority of early down work but it was close to a split. The Bills motto this offseason was "Everyone has a plate". It showed with10 different players getting a target. This receiving room is wide open for someone to become WR1 & Keon saw the highest of all WR with a 73% snap count. Take Keon's upside if you need WRs.
I agree... great running back.
