I advice you dont buy Mofi router. I did it is a nightmare, i got problem, with simcard, they tried to solve but failed. They soft is full off bug. And finally they give up and stop to work on it. I am trying to send them back and get my money back yet not acheived. Be carefull and look at other solutions, if you want to be sure.

EG4 split unit can purrrr at 200Wh on eco mode and last all day and does not need a soft start box... RV A/C units are hogs, dump them~! ...and the split unit does heat as well.

do you have to change the imei settings etc on the device to trick the carrier into thinking your router is an iphone? or is it just plug & play? ive read that some peoples routers were having issues with using only the hotspot connections and not the cellular data as the carrier could tell it wasnt a phone, and other routers can adjust the settings to appear as a cellphone. is this necessary with mofi?

I have used Mofi for 5 years while driving a semi truck. My first router was the MOFI4500-4GXeLTE. It has served me well either when I was out on the road or when I use it at home since I don’t have internet services at home. It provides me internet even when other people with cables got no internet during power outages. Besides the fact that I got no signal running into dead zones from time to time and crowded parking lots would reduce signal quality, it has worked pretty well for my application and I highly recommend it to anyone. The upfront cost could be a lot for some people but my internet ended up averaging $6 per month for the device plus $40 monthly for a phone line. I just purchased the newest MOFI6500 router to replace my old one and they are currently giving out $70 discounts off new purchases if you currently own a Mofi device.

I just purchased the Eco Flow Delta Pro (+ a 400 watt eco flow solar panel) for our 24' camp trailer. Our trailer has 400 watts of solar on the roof to two AGM batteries on the tongue. Just wondering if it's as simple as plugging the trailers 30 amp plug into the Eco Flow or do I need something else for seamless operation? I've heard of needing a "neutral to ground plug" and/or surge protector? Also will I need to use the trailers battery disconnect switch before using the Delta Pro? Thank you Sir!

You’re not being lowered in priority, you’re just really hard to get a connection with because your a moving roaming data access point lmao. It’s common sense, not a conspiracy. Starlink doesn’t have a personal vendetta against roaming users because it was made for situations like this. It won’t be perfect all the time, but you would rather have it than not.

I have this setup. Dual antennas to the mofi router and then the starlink router to the mofi 5500. I have google mesh network to push the signal as well throughout the house. It works great to get reliable connections. Starlink works great but if you are gaming/streaming gaming even with unobstructed skies you will still get obstructions and network issues.

What's you're thoughts on using at&t prepaid vs at&t contracts ? I asked a techy youtuber in the past about TracFone and he was concerned about getting detected easily with a pre paid. "I don’t recommend any prepaid phone plans because those often get blocked by the carrier when used in another device."
