Nice build. Just purchased a suburban Z71 myself, plan to do similar. Btw lift kit options are still very slim. RC, BDS and Superlift are only options. You seem to not have any issues with the RC lift.
I'm building mine up... It's a 2001 Tahoe. Just finished building the 4L60E. Built up a 6.0L for it. Built all on my own. Well consulted some industry specialists. Had a custom ground cam cut for my build. Rebuilt my suspension, but haven't lifted it yet. I went with Poly and LOVE it. Truck climbs like a beast stock 3.73 gears.
Love the Suburban. Looks fantastic, and great video. Just got an 04 2500. What wheels are on yours? That's what I'm looking for for mine in 17". I'm also thinking about a Truck Norris cam, and long tube headers. That would wake up my 6.0. Thanks for the video
You can't use those wheels because of 6 vs 8 lug. I have the same ones on my '03 Suburban with 33" tires, they're KMC XD's, don't think they're still made in that exact style but they have similar designs you can find on Google. Might even make them in 8 lug.
Nice I got a 04 z71 burban myself. I want to do a actual suspension lift currently have Ford torsion keys with 35 inch tires. Have a video of it on my channel for anyone wondering how 35s on a leveled 01-06 GM truck would look
Nice truck! Well done! I've had a bunch of em and learned a lot. RC lift was not great in my experience. I found Cognito and went with their 6" non torsion bar drop kit, including UCA's, a cv front drive line, hd alloy tie rods, hd sway bar, pitman and idler supports, and it handles super sweet. Their steering fixes are a must, lifted or not. I also had to micro-tune my rear pinion angles to within .25 degrees of each other to eliminate driveline vibrations.
@@rcozpinoy I have one identical to that the fog lights on a Tahoe are round like that Suburban are straight.maybe is USA that's a Suburban in Canada Tahoe.
Just for future reference, the rear doors is the easiest way to tell from a distance if it's a Tahoe or Suburban. On Suburbans, the rear doors go straight down, on a Tahoe they curve with the rear fenders because of the shorter wheelbase.
Nice build. Just featured a budget build Z71 Suburban on my channel...some overland flavor but we hit some hard trails to test it out! Check it out. Awesome looking suburban!
@@justinglenn4443 dam. Nice truck, this body style in my opinion is going to be hit as a classic moving forward. I own 2005 z71 white suburban. Best truck I have ever owned. Kids think it’s out dated but I love it and always will
How much
How much do you pay in that modification
Nice suburban💯
Might have to swap the new 6.6 in mine one day…. Or a duramax
Nice truck. How is it today. Still going. New mods?
I’d be very proud to drive that. I just never been a brand new type. Maybe one day
Awesome Z71! Have you had it ceramic coated? The paint job looks amazing and the interior looks great!
What size rim and wheels ? Looks amazing

Nice truck bro.

Those tow mirrors look sharp. I looked into doing that on my 2019 1500 Silverado... no luck so far
Nice Z71!..I tried to land one..in the end, got a 04 Yukon XL SLT..probably the best vehicle I have ever owned.
Justin? Leader of the rats? Nice rig man!
Can we get an update video? Awesome ride!
Beautiful

What kinda rims?
I got a Chevy suburban 04 as well. This looks sick. How much did all the remodifications cost you?
Probably around 5 to 6 grand.
She looking nice but I think it's a tahoe
Nah def a burban the 3rd row/trunk glass on the side is long
Definitely not a Tahoe.

@@GrandPrix46 in the end they all the same .GM
Great build, doing a similar one myself! What brand of long tubes did you run with? I dont want to bother with fitment issues.
Pacesetter
Fit without any issues
Really nice truck
Can you fit a full spare with those tires underneath?
No I run a 285 so I have room for my exhaust.

Just co
So what sort of mpg you getting? Looks awesome
10 city 13 hwy
im about to buy a chevy suburban dark green , its a z71 and i was wondering if i could get all terrains on it without it being lifted . thanks
You could fit some 33x with little to no cutting.
Did you have to tune it?
Did a mail order tune. Forgot who it was.

THATS BEAUTIFUL RIG RIGHT THERE,,,💪🏼
a trick : watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching loads of movies recently.
@William Madden Yup, been watching on flixzone for months myself =)
Have you customized the interior too?
Only interior that I have done is refinish the dash.
Did the cam swap work fine or you had to tune it to get it to stay running?
I had it tuned before I ever started it.
What all did you have to add along with the cam?
I did valve springs and a Circle D 3'200 stall converter. Cam is to big to use the stock stall converter.
Looks really good with the lift and tires 👌👍
Got black 03 with the 5.3 what are cam specs sounds good i just did headers cam is next would really appreciate some info
It is a Texus Speed 224/224 .600/.600 110 LSA
I’m looking to buy an 04 Surb. Love what you did. How big of a lift and what are the wheel sizes you put on it?
I put a 6" Rough country w/ 35 x12.5
Nice. Looks awesome. Not sure if I’d put a 6 though. More looking at 4 or 4.5. Overall a sharp looking truck you have there
Nice bro... Gotta 04Surb too. Looking to do some mods soon and some interior work... What kind of struts and shock you got on her?
It has rough country shocks. Came with the lift. Rides better than stock.
