Last ADV ride of the season in Autumn - Shortfilm
We are taking a pause here, to remind all of you, that if you live in the northern hemisphere then right now is the right time to go for that Autumn ride. Maybe the last ride of the season. Before you know it, the snow will fall, and it is MUCH more pleasant to ride in falling leaves than falling snow.
Riding in the autumn carries a bit of melancholy. You ride with all the memories of the trips you have done this riding season, but also the knowledge that very soon, that bike of yours will be parked. For me at least, the riding season in Scandinavia ends November 1st, with the first snow and salt on the roads. And begins again when the sun will steer close enough for the trees to sprout and the flowers to bloom. That means a good 4-5 months of waiting, anticipating, planning. There will be plenty of time for that, so for now, go on that ride...!
Riding gear;
Saddlebags from @kriega8589 - OS Base 18L
Jacket from @REVITsport - H2O Component
Protective vest from Rev’it - Proteus
Trousers from Hallman Racing by Thor
Jersery from Hallman Racing by Thor
Boots from Alpine Stars - Tech 7 Drystar
Helmet from Arai - Tour XD4
Goggles from 100pct - Barstow Deus X Machina
Gloves from Rev’it - Dirt 3
Camera backpack from LowePro - Tactic 350

In june 2024, we traveled to the Balkans, to ride as much of the Trans Euro Trail as we could within the 12 days of riding we had. This is the teaser for that film, that will air in September 2024, once people are back in their couch, not watching EURU2024, or the Olympics or the Tour De France. Stay tuned for an epic journey, through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Hercegovina and Montenegro.

Yep, autumn is an absolutely beautiful time to ride (when it’s not raining) but it does feel like the end of a show when the final curtain comes down. It’s already changing here in the alps and the snow will arrive anytime soon. The bikes will go away and the skis will come out but I will spend my winter counting the days to when I can open the garage door again and fire the bike up🙏 Awesome video dude👏👏
@@LloydGrace1 I’m bringing out the MTB, to keep advancing my track skills on two wheels. On mtb tracks there’s no salt and a little snow doesn’t matter, if there was a local enduro club close by that would be the best alternative but 🤷🏻♂️ Can’t wait for spring 🏍️😎🌱
@@thescandiflicktv Couldn’t agree more. I will MTB right up until the big snow comes, then switch to skis. I am out on MTB tomorrow for a high altitude enduro exploration in Swiss mountains🙂Can you not use skidoo’s in Sweden?
@@LloydGrace1 Yeah, we can ski in Sweden but I live a few hours away from the small slopes, to get to something bigger than 5 minutes downwards before taking the lift again I would have to go 5-7 hours away, not ideal for everyday usage 😂

Fedt!
