Stupid question. How are the cars and trucks moving?
Incredible!
Hi, like others have asked, I’d love to see the track plan. I’ve re watched this maybe twenty times and I’m still not convinced I have figured it out. Amazing work.
Truly amazing! Amazing use of multi level, even subway! Cars trucks, everything. Seriously amazing. I hope you can show more. Also full layout specs. Amazing!!!
Absolutely fantastic 😊
Holy cow this is awesome
Awesome layout. wow .. very well done :)
Fantastic work, some of the house lighting is a bit bright but what a cracking bit of kit, very well worked out and so many things to look at, the camera work does lead me to believe it's more a dining table layout rather than a coffee table but then again, you might have some rather large coffee cups 😂
Nicely done. Great work. I truly enjoyed this video.
So did I.
We need to see more of this. It’s brilliant
Very smart layout and I love the road vehicles.. I am very impressed..
mind blown! The best I've seen mate well done!
Breath taking layout
The description is N gauge coffee table layout. 1:148 scale. Rather large coffee table.
Incredible
Simply amazing layout love the detail
Fantastic layout. Quite inspirational and I love the multiple layers and loops. Would definitely like to see more about its construction and operation.
Not many replies but all said it was a good layout of which I agree, however........... none of the replies seem to know anything about trains and their related scale. "Dana Street. N gauge coffee table layout diorama. 1:148 scale". Wake up everyone especially the poster that built the layout/diorama. Just to set the record straight, there is not a scale for trains that is 1:148, this is more of a model building scale like cars, airplanes, tanks and everything that is not trains. "N" scale trains is 1:160, "HO" scale is 1:87.1 and "Z" scale is 1:200. Id you want to know more scales you can look it up. Poster, learn the scales of trains for your next post ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! (note) I have a large room size "N" scale layout in a 12ft x 12 ft room. Was bedroom #2 ! ! !k This would fit better in the US if the cars and trucks drove on the right side of the road and not the left side. Does not matter where the layout is, "N" scale is still 1:160.
N scale is 1:160. N gauge is 1:148. It’s British. “If you want to know more scales you can look it up.”
Typical, stereotypical loud mouth ungrateful colonial. Aka, American. 2mm scale (true N gauge) is 1:150. In Britain we model to 1:148 and across the continent and America 1:160 is the standard. Model railways is not exclusively an American thing and to suggest a model would be better if it were adapted to suit an American design is laughable. Also, ranting that someone is wrong (when they clearly aren't) is both unnecessary and utterly foolish. It's a fantastic layout which demonstrates really well what someone can do in a limited space and by adapting readily available kits and accessories.
@@FlexSRS I looked it up and it is all way too confusing. I too blame the British. I just work with it as I go along and save the precision math for my machine shop. Wonderful work you do!
I love the interiors for the buildings. I don't know if I'll ever do that much detail
Awesome job. May we get a track layout?
This is an extremely good layout, and I too would love to see a few away view of the whole thing, and just more video of it in general. Thanks for posting this!
Greetings Logan 2 Hotel and welcome, thank you for your first ‘teaser’ of what looks like a very detailed model. The size you have stated seems awfully compact so I cannot wait to see a zoomed out shot in daylight, truly inspiring and once again a big thank you. Are you DC or DCC?
Thanks. Trains are controlled via DCC.
Exceptional layout - well detailed and very cleverly done with the multi levels. Cheers Euan
So much detail. when it was night on your video, the bedrooms what lit up they looked like had furniture inside. Or my eyes playing tricks lol. What a beautiful layout so much detail. Really liked stone steps in small park aera
Thanks. Buildings are furnished. Lots to see through the windows.
blown away with your superb layout - hours of fun and so much detail to look at ------ just awsome
Amazing job, I would also like to see it operate with the camera zoomed out. 😁
this is my dream... hahah you absolutely smashed this and convinced me it's possible.
Extremely impressive detailing and concept. It would be nice if you showed the entire layout in a zoomed out view, as well as giving the dimensions of the overall size.
Thanks. Noted for next time. Base footprint 100x150cms (3’3” x 4’11”). Overall table height 50cms (1’8”) however currently elevated to allow access underneath.
@@FlexSRS Incredible work. Thanks for posting the dimensions. My wife has expressed an intreste in a coffee table layout and it's inspiriing to see what can be done with these dimensions.
This a brilliant layout. I’d really like to see the track plan
