Thanks for representing my home town team so well. The old barn had lots of character in our downtown. The WFCU is huge modernized upgrade. Scoreboard above center ice could use updating. London Knights (2 hours), Kitchener Rangers and Hamilton Bulldogs (both around 3 hours) are your next closest Canadian OHL teams. Red Wings are my NHL team and have been there many times. Likewise Tigers, Lions and Pistons.

Wish I could have been at the game, the reason for the odd scheduling (which happens more often than not than you think) is because of travel and arena scheduling conflicts, as ECHL games in general, unfortunately including playoff games too, are not the first in mind when scheduling happens. I’ve been going to Huntington ever since I was a little kid, but for the Barnum & Bailey Circus’, never knowing (or suspecting a hockey team was there).

Very impressive arena thanks for the tour of inside and outside.

I’m a Toledo fan who drove up to Detroit with my friend for this game. Was such a great game and impressed by the amount of Toledo fans that were there, just over 26k attendance and I believe about 80% of them were in Midnight Blue and Gold. Shoutout to Pitt as well, they played a great game and all the fans I talked to were really nice and a bit sad lol. Proud of the boys for getting this gritty win especially when being down multiple times. Glad you enjoyed it and hopefully you come to the Glass Bowl in Toledo for a Rockets game! RAHHH ROCKETS 🚀🚀

I LOVE that you captured the history of Toledo Hockey in your intro. I have a player jersey from the Goaldiggers exactly like the one you filmed. It was given to me when I was a 6 year old boy after the Goaldiggers won the IHL Turner Cup Championship in the 82-83 season. The player was Peter Steblyk #3 Defensemen. My favorite player from the Goaldiggers. I still have the jersey to this day. Thank you again for shining a light on Toledo Hockey! And as you had a small critic in your video, I have a small critic as well. You should have thrown your hat on the ice for the hat trick goal (even though it was disallowed) this is from an Ohio State Buckeyes fan, too. Hahahaha. Cheers my friend!

Our stadium is nice but it is 30 years old now. Personally, I like the stadium and wouldn't waste money on a new one. I've never had a bad experience in our stadium but I also haven't been to any other major league parks.

I really enjoyed this recap video. I am partial to minor league baseball so those are the videos that led me to your channel initially. Hope we will see more of those in 2025. The minor league team names are a hoot. I assume you are planning your 2025 travels - a video of what you are planning and how you approach that might be interesitng.

I was at that game with a native Michigan red wings fan. Red wings and all of the original six teams have a solid fan base that shows up to these games. The hat was a great giveaway. Not everyone calls the arena this but a lot of regular fans now call the arena the Ponda to pay respect to the old name but also realize that money rules all. Hopefully the construction around the arena will bring an invigorated vibe to the team once completed. The owners are dumping a ton of money into that project
