'Where do you live?' 'Telegraph Hill' (from 'You and Me', 2023)
Переглядів 268Рік тому
'You and Me', first broadcast on ITV in February 2023, is a romantic drama series shot pretty much entirely in South London. It opens with a shot of Telegraph Hill Park, a location that features in many key scenes (top and bottom parts of park), then the set up scene is in Deptford High Street at a bus stop that I don't think is really there. There are scenes inside and outside Skehans pub and ...

This is a really good cover of the classic Paul Simon tune. The schoolchildren are great and I really like the violin part. I cannot fault the second guitar on the verses, as I played it. Akwaba also released a superb track called Plastic Money, great horn section and a trumpet solo on the middle eight. Shame that it is not to be found on UA-cam or Spotify.

Went in 1995 and had a fantastic time even though the bass went on Asian Dub Foundation. Loved Joneshouse Effect (they were friends after all), Scrap Iron Scientists and Pulkas. I lived in Deptford and that whole area was buzzing artistically in that decade.
