Spearfishing [ALL WE NEED IS ONE FISH ON THE GRILL] Karmøy
Spearfishing in Norway. Karmøy is the place. Had a good experience of this island. Nice people. Great nature and good weather. Cold water and little life in the sea did nothing to dampen the mood. We had faith and got caught in the end. Our goal was to fry fish in the pan and it got what we wanted in the end

I have the same detector, it finds everything except gold 😂

Do you happen to have any advice as to when this pipe has most activity? Which days of the week or times of the day? Been there a couple of times without anything coming out and no fish apart from small schools of coalfish:)) thanks so much in advance! 💪🌊🔥
Sorry but don't know for sure when they flush out. There has been good activity from September to early November, morning and afternoon🐟. There was no activity when we were there in March.
Whats is your configuration? My simplex dont work undersea :(
Awesome review, very strait forward. How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
Hello bro! What settings u use in water?
Crazy that some places seem to hold so much fish and then there are others were is basically nothing.
Would be nice to make a vid about the device you use to breathe underwater. It's it a pipe that goes to the surface?
Nice vids! I can't wait to get underwater with my simplex plus. Question is can I do it without buying the underwater headphones? It sounds/looks like you are hunting without the headphones? Can you hear the audio underwater? What are your thoughts on this? Have you tried a smaller coil yet underwater? Thanks a million for replying. 4 months till i can swim so I can't try it yet!
Thanks! Congratulations. Yes, it goes well as long as the water is calm, I think. The more the water moves, the more noise there will be and it will be difficult to make proper contact with the tones from the detector. I have only used the coil that you see in the videos. Good luck🙂
Thanks! That makes sense. I don't think the tones will be so important underwater as it will be fairly clean and I'll be able to see the numbers anyway..AND because things are not so deep so it will be easy to "dig". I forgot to ask what mode do you prefer underwater?@@Alex_Anders
Nice video guys!! We're planning to come to Hitra the autumn 2024. We're a group of spearfishers from France. If you have any tips for us it would be really helpful ahah :D Thx
Thanks😊 Of course. If you can, please contact us on IG. Then I'll send some pictures via DM. Easier than explaining so much in text 😊👍
How deep is this?
We mostly dive between 5-14m. Rarely anything shallower or deeper than that. Depending on where the fish is located. Sometimes we have to dive deeper to find it
Thanks @@Alex_Anders Good to know I'm also going there next season. Can't wait to be there 🐟
@@gatis_vaitovskis Lovely😊 Hitra is a diving paradise🤿🐟
Meet "Galathea strigosa". Caught with the hands as the only tool after sunset. Called "krinakrabbe" in Norwegian. Although this little guy rarely shows up, it is quite common along the coast. Lives its life in crevices and between large boulders. From shallow water and all the way down to a depth of 500-600 metres.
Woooohoho goood job bro 👌🤩💪💪 Greetings From Poland ✋👊
😊😊
hvilken båt er det dere bruker her? =)
Vi bruker salt. Heller den over toppen av knivskjellet. Den prøver å "rømme" for det blir for høye konsentrater av salt på ett sted. Det likern ikke
Where did you shoot this time? Any bridge?
No bridge at the time here. We explored places around Fjellværsøya. This was our second time on Hitra so we where looking for exciting places to dive and explore😊 Plus a little pipedive too. It is a small experience in itself. A fun place👍 Maybe the brigde this time. In about 3 weeks🐟🤿
wow youre starting the season early. What do you guys think is the best time for spearing in middle-norway? Summer? Autumn?
Yes, waited a long time for more life in the sea. Everything you want to see right there and then is 🐟 Spring and autumn are high season for underwater hunting in Norway. We think autumn is the most exciting time. In the summer, the fish move a little deeper. But you can find crabs and flatfish and the water is nice and warm. But summer is also the middle of the season for boat life and the dangers for us freedivers associated with it
Thank you, and thanks for sharing the awesome vids with english aids to we can all enjoy them too.
@@crustybear Glad to have you here on our channel😊🤿🐟
Awesome. Thinking of doing this trip!
Thanks! Yes, we are traveling up again for the 5th time now. Will not ever get tired of Hitra🤿😊
The intensifying music is just annoying. I just ended up skipping through the video, and now I've lost interest.
Too bad you experienced the film that way. Thanks for the feedback😊👍
@@Alex_Anders I found the music to be perfect for the video and it enhanced the experience for me.

Takk😊 Dette er Rørvika. Ute ved Folehavna.

Absolutely🙏
So big!
The biggest lobster we've ever caught😃🦞
@@Alex_Anders min kollega Iselin showed me this today
Yes she told me. Thank you for your support😃
When your local neighbourhood pops up in the feed. I didn't know these caves were there. My goodness they're amazing!
Yes, quite a special place. We have been there twice. Really exciting dive site😁👌
Great video, straight to the point and no unnecessary jibber
Thanks for the comment @ivansaric33 😊👍
Does it parasitize underwater?
Amazing movie, pleasure to watch. Underwater shots just stunning. What the camera did you use for filming underwater stuff? Looks so detailed, color balanced and bright, I'm really amazed!
Thank you very much for such a nice comment. It was nice to hear 😁 For the underwater pictures, we are faithful to the gopro7. We think that model copes with the dark surroundings really well. On land, you mostly see the gopro10. The drone images are from the dji mini2. The images from all cameras are edited and color adjusted. Not very much, but more or less on most of the clips. Trying not to exaggerate but rather highlight what we want to be seen. The video editing is at hobby level. Far from professional. But it is very nice to hear that you like what you see. We hope to inspire others to get out and use nature😊👌
@@Alex_Anders thank you for your reply Alex (or Anders? :)) You've got a really nice pictures from these cams!
@@76tygfgug Hehe, regards, Alexander😊
Billig butikk. Husk fortolling med i prisvurdering
Cool to see tyfs😊
Thank you😊 Fascinating creatures
Looks like we are going for the fish🐟🐟
Congratulations :)
Thanks😊 This particular one was taken a few years ago. But we got a similar one a couple of weeks ago. It is one of the best things we catch. Always grateful for turbot this size🙏
Good video!
Thanks Daniellunchu😊
Plaice on our favorite place😍
well done :D beast
Yeah, we got to of those beast that time. In was good times😁
Razor clams are fine food as long as they grow in healthy surroundings, we think. They grow buried in sand at the bottom of the shore and in shallow water. The shells are long and narrow.
I have the same detector and also the small "scuba" one
Yeah, love my simplex. Its a nice detector. Was the black one you used on your shorts a scuba tector?
@@Alex_Anders yeah that's the one,it's a nokta makro pulse dive, it's great but has no discrimination
@@NorthWalesspearfishing yep, same as scuba tector. No discrimination. But it's still fun to have😊
That's a fantastic shot on that Pollock at the start. Top down as the fish swims away is a tricky shit to make! Well done 👍
Thanks man. That was a very nice comment😊 It was the only "desent size" fish we saw. That was possible to eat. So it saved the trip👌
I hate turbot so much because I love to eat them but I can't find them 😅
Best dinnerfish ever. I dont find them here in Florø either. Been looking around. You live in Norway?
Strange. I hear they find a lot of them near Bergen which is not that far from Florø. I live in Denmark, but have been diving a bit in the Kristiansund to Hitra area. I have never seen a turbot there either. We have many of them here in Denmark but they can be quite hard to find. I usually only get a couple each year :)
@@KristianGrSl I know. South for Bergen. Not far from Karmøy. Its a turbotmekka. The same in Oslofjorden where my buddie lives they are all over the place. But from my place, Florø, and further north. Like you say, hitra and Kristiansund, its less turbot. Hope you find some this year in Denmark🤞😊
Title should be changed to : The life of a fish 😂
Ha😅
What the he'll is da- the ocean is getting weirder and weirder
Its a turbot. Been here on the earth for a long time👍🐟
Disappearing turbot🤿
Fun fact: "The lifespans of some scallops have been known to extend over 20 years" and "the scallop often lives partially buried in a coarse sandy bottom, preferably in areas with some current"
Ahaha fish go zzzzsssszzzz
Yes, it was a very good shot this time👌
This is HITRA NORWAY😊
