Love a good rummage, and there was lots of fun stuff there. The chops on Dave are other worldly, and I love that card of Brett. I have a thing for HOF cards with full career stats on the back, I need to add that one to my list. For some reason I'm thinking DeWayne Buice (Bice) (rhymes with Rice)

Expanded playoffs has been one of my least favorite changes in baseball. It has created a bunch of okay teams. Every team seems so risk averse that no one wants to go for it.

100% on all of this, and a sudden few game surge changes nothing. I was at Sundays game, same ol', same ol'. We need to win the division or heads need to start rolling, even if they are just replaced with other 'yes' men types and example need to be made. Sitting at home in October with one of the top ranked farm systems does nothing for me, particularly after having, at one point, an 11 game lead. Prospect are cool, parades are cooler.

I feel your pain...I'm an Astros fan. I've always been an Astros fan long before they ever thought about winning/cheating a World Series. And BTW, the cheating is a black eye for Astros fans because of how long it took us to get there. Luis Castillo knows this feeling. This was the Reds in 2020 when the Reds had him, Sonny Grey and Trevor Bauer who won the Cy Young, but the Reds couldn't score. They turned it on in Sept to make the playoffs, but got shut out both games in Atlanta. Left countless men on base.

M's, Not really a fan, but there are 8 states connected that have zero MLB leaving a huge dead spot. I saw them win in Yankee Stadium in 2000.
