That drill was the sloppiest, most horrible and disgusting drill I have ever seen. What are those arms? Bent at the elbow? Big no no. Tiktoking too? Horrible. The “Haka” was terrible. These cadets should practice drill for the rest of their careers. Absolutely horrible.

I think people forget these were youngsters (now young adults of course), but the point remains equal today. They're doing their best in front of the public and are a product of the adult drill instruction they've received which, being a CFAV myself, varies considerably in quality and consistency in my observations. In the SCC, RMC and RAFAC, a WO1 is a qualified Drill Instructor specifically responsible for maintaining standards of drill across their allocated geographical region ie common instructing, common standards = all do it the same. The ACF doesn't have such a similar dedicated role which in part explains why there's soooo much variation in timings/pauses, even between Detachments in the same Coy. Simply look at the various vids of ACF Drill comps to suitably illustrate these variances. Shame, as with more desire across Coy's and Cmpny's to up the standard & consistency of drill, all cadets would benefit. Taught well, drill is great and youngsters love doing it as a team.
