When that uptempo beat kicks in I'm hooked. Forget the fills and flourishes before, all impeccable though, but it's the beat and the drummers absolute respect for the feel and tradition that I am in awe of. The hits, stops and fills are difficult and equally note worthy but the adherence to maintaining the uptempo beat with absolute conviction is what I smiled about the most. Amazing drummer! The band also btw. How young is this chap also! Musically mature beyond his years that's for sure! Props to the preacher and the organ player. Did the band get visual ques for the stops or was it all written out? Thanks
