Would love to visit and rockhound in Oregon but I gotta be honest, news coming out of there doesn't make it sound like a safe place to venture at all. Hopefully that is all in big cities and not where ya look for these gems. It's damn sad.

I am a flint knapper. My eyes see that many of the stones you show have already been used by primitive cultures. I will give you a a hint. Erosion doesn’t produce hundreds of different angles on rocks, it causes them to become smooth. Just like we notice beauty now. Others in the past also noticed. Perhaps even more because silicates were so important to ancient people.

I have found some tings similar to these and i never thought they were crystals

What am I looking at?

I would have left the roof white, that's just me, I just a bought a 64 4 door that's black with a 305 in it, It needs alot too but I'm going to do it on a shoestring budget also but I'm just building a daily driver out if it. I'm basically going to get it running and driving, replace the carpet from some carpet from a carpet outlet here in town, the seats are trashed and I have no need for a back seat so I'm just going to yank the seats out and throw some buckets in it from a Cavalier that I have sitting around in my shop and wrap some plywood in some black outdoor vinyl and delete the back seat, might even put some speakers in the plywood for some tunes. I'm going to repaint it but I'm going to go cheap on that too, I'm using Tractor paint, it's cheaper and more durable, the wheels I'm just going to pull off the hubcaps and repaint the wheels with Silver Wheel paint then put some of those cheap chrome centercaps.
