1:25 Showing its Vectra roots right there with that catastrophic understeer. 🤦♂
That's really great news for the DIY Saab owner...oh wait, no it ISN'T. Taking it to a body shop is the furthest thing from a DIY so thanks for nothing. Jesus fuck man...
0:17 theyre foreshadowing ur crash
I love all generations but was this seriously for the roadster 😂 everyone breaking their necks trying to look away from terrifyingly froggy face 🤣
Exactly😅 It's a great car but it looks like an overturned bathtub wearing glasses
90's Generation Sporty from Japan!
Unfortunately, only porn music was heard that day.
Nice mr2 bro cool vid
I have patience of waiting for mine. 😊
Maybe it's just because the car is a less common sight now, but I definitely get a lot of looks every time I take mine out
Perhaps your driving is appalling?
Sorry it's a 95 not a 93!!
That's definitely a 9-3.
Nope, that's definitely a mid 2000's 9-3
Marzenie z mojego dzieciństwa ❤
Success !
Very nice idea! Instead of removing the one you replace with a wire, you can just bridge the connection at the back. It's easier and cleaner I think.
Great info. We were just talking about how slow the sw20 lights are last week.
Hi, I have the same problem. How are the wheel arches 3 years on?
I don't have the car anymore but the year after having it done they were still looking good as new
Looks like a lovely job. Would you mind ball parking how much the arch recovery and respray cost?
I love Mr2 sw20 ❤❤
You may also want to install the stainless steel plate under the roller to prevent paint damage and further rust...
Where do you buy this?
@Haydzx-tn3gy Hello. I ordered mine at local metal shop, which just cutting metal for different purposes (not related with cars). Description was just "Underlay for sliding door VW Caddy" something like that. But later I noticed they had in the description this part number - VАG 2К0843713.
£90 for a strip how much was yours from a metal store? Do you have a picture you can share
@@Haydzx-tn3gy I paid like 12$. Just google this part number, the part looks like long narrow curved metal strip. You put 2-sided sticky tape on it and place under the roller
Not helpful
Nice video but I was thinking you were gonna show how you fixed it yourself lol
Nice video but I was thinking you were gonna show how you fixed it yourself lol
Almost useless video, the most important part is missing..
Gorgeous saabs❤
it have the resonator middle i mean
Can you put the purchase link for the tube and the filter? I would really appreciate it, thank you !
Would also appreciate this!
Сааб на века в историю вписан.
Couldn't catch the size/type of the bit needed? Thx
Najlepszy samochód świata jaki miał eemmmm w uk
How they fixed rust, what they used?
How much did it set you back mate?
Must be lucky 🍀 have a 2005 9.3 Aero convertible - rear arches seem good 👍 When I bought car 6 years ago too all liners out and coated inside and inside lip of arches with Waxoyl Today used Bilt Hamber which is cavity wax to treat inside body skirts , base of doors and boot lid - brilliant stuff !
Born from jets ❤️
Hey man looks sick, what exhaust is that?
It came with the car when I bought it, been told it's a Mongoose system
what size is the bits??
Hey man looks fresh I've got a '99 super white as well, what exhaust have you got?
What about the air temp sensor? You pulled it out of the airbox and just left it hanging on the outside, doesn't it have to be inside the air filter?
Yeah it does, there is a hole for it to go in but I just forgot. Though I ran it for a day or 2 before noticing with no engine light or anything lol
Where can i get the bit from as i am struggling to find it
EBay, just bought one
@@bandit666 what was the bit he used
Amazing...the part where you take it out of the sliding rail is missing...thanks for showing me how to uscrew and put back two screws...bruliant..helpfull...
You are very welcome
@@StevensCarChannel what was the bit you used?
😂 Yeah, video is useless
Amazing vid mate 👌🏻y Subaru looks class in it 👌🏻
Nice video it's almost like a timelapse lol. I had the Celica - the TT and MR2 Roadster were my dad's and younger brother's. I love your steering wheel, where did you get it?
Thank man! I'm sure I spoke with your brother while I was there actually. The steering wheel is from Kode and the hub kit is just from eBay :)
@@StevensCarChannel Yeah he mentioned speaking to the Mk2 guy haha :) thanks dude!
I have a 08 aero that I too need to get painted in front and rear arches. Make sure you clean the bottom of the front t fenders every so often as tbey collect dirt and hold moisture rusting from inside out.
Please do not rev your engine when it is cold and when the oil hasn't gotten around the engine, that thing was crying at first start up.
Don't watch a cold start video if you don't like them ;)
Thought that was my car for a second 😀 snap. Only issue with the mongoose is I can't get it to sit level yours looks the same
Think its more just the camera angle, I've heard a lot of people have this issue but this one is about as level as can be (was fitted when I bought the car so can't take credit lol)
Sweet cheers 👌🏻
Nice car man, I live the sound
Where did you buy the rear splitter from? It looks nice.
Thanks for sharing
Some people reach zen by meditation or pruning their bonsai tree. Give an SW20 owner some shade and a bucket of spoapy water and a state of nirvana shall be achieved.
I'm training to be a panel beater and my dad's selling his saab you should see the rear arches. I'm tempted to replace my civic with it, but it needs a steering rack and the arches done. If you want a laugh its on gumtree, if you search for saab in TD15 its up for £425 I believe. The Mot tester put duct tape over the arches to get it through.
"The Mot tester put duct tape over the arches to get it through" ... the most believable thing I read all day.
Where did you go to have the rust fixed? Mine were very badly done by the previous owner so in desperate need of repair
Watching.
All done by a body shop in Airdrie called Blackworx. Not sure what their exact process is though.
@@StevensCarChannel how much did it cost to get this done?
