Absolutely brilliant forehead tutorial series 🔥🔥🔥… Just when you think you seen it all about forehand hitting! So many great technique tweaks that have really helped me overhaul my forehand. In particular, adjusting my right hand grip so I place the stick in my fingers (instead of holding it in my palm). This small adjustment has really made a huge difference. Amazingly, this finger grip adjustment also works perfectly with the Tomahawk hit! I can now comfortably place my right palm on the flat stick surface with a rock solid wrist at contact. Can’t wait for the next series!🙏🙏🙏
Epic feedback!! So glad to hear these tips are doing their job!! 🔥
Some really good tips, clearly explained. Thanks! I've watched several tutorials and while grip is always mentioned, this is the first one I've seen with tips for how to check and correct it. I realized I've been gripping wrong when hitting for the past 20 odd years!
Thanks heaps for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙌

@@ryantout9858 thank you!! 🙏
Me sending this to our striker for sunday where we play a league and cup game

Also My favorite was a 4
Also my favourite was the golf one
I would be a subscriber for life
Air Tomahawk I don’t mean a back hand volley
That would be crazy
Air tomahawk
Thanks for the tips! Sometimes when I hit the ball it tends to come up without my intention due to my poor posture. I will follow your videos and apply everything in the pre-season. 🫶
Awesome - let me know how it goes!!
Amazing
Once I lost a game 22-0
❤😂
Um, is that an English hockey stick? He hockey stick in use to is a lot longer and doesn’t look like that. That looks like a candy cane with padding lol 😂
Field hockey
the fact this only has 12 likes is crazy to me
That’s not a hockey stick
@@parkerbubany2255 what is it?
I think it’s a field hockey stick! For sure not for ice hockey! Lol
@@nmfhockeyThat’s called a Yank. They’re very rarely aware that an entire world exists outside their bubble. He thinks hockey only exists on ice.
You realize the guy who posted the video's name is nmfHOCKEY. I think he knows what a hockey stick is. lol.
America that equals a field hockey stick. Regular hockey stick is very different.
What brand is it?
At the practice hole aye 😜 I lived across from here wtf!
@@Pukees01 yup! Great setup!
when is sheepwithastick featuring??
Surely soon!!
Awesome tutorial ! I found your previous UA-cam/Instagram forehand tutorials really useful and I thought I had my forehand hit mostly dialed in, but then I upgraded from a mid bow to a low bow stick, and found myself lifting virtually every single shot😅 ! After A LOT of trial and error, I found I can keep the ball low by moving the contact point well behind my front foot and essentially in line with my belly button (I didn’t notice any loss of power or accuracy. ) Would you consider this bad form? Or do I just keep doing what works? Cheers!
Thank you! Plenty more to come. Nope adjusting the ball position is a super common fix!! 👏Ball back in the stance and everything will line up. Keep challenging yourself on hitting flat with the ball a bit further forward and you will be sweet!
@@nmfhockey thanks so much for taking the time to answer my question! I’m glad I’m not totally off the mark but will definitely need to work on my ball placement. One more question …In your original forehand series, you stressed the importance of a “snapping“ wrist action just before impact, but made no mention of it this time around. Has your back swing evolved and you’ve dropped the wrist snap? Thanks again.🙏🙏🙏
@ Another great question!! I still think snapping the wrists is important for sure, but I would say I’ve learned that rotation back into the correct position is the most important part of the swing, hands low, right elbow tucked. From there most people will swing and snap their wrists naturally through the ball.
Down for a training sesh?

@@Bilal-g6t 👋
greetings from Argentina. great tutorial.. I am a coach.. it is very hard to teach the forehand hitting nowadays. i am almost 50 years old and for me it is quite easy.. Lol.
Thank you! Yea definitely a lost art but super important!!
Where are my black sticks at
Infinite aura.
ASMR hockey this is what I’ve been looking for for my whole life 😅
Our goalie plays for the Ireland under 13 football team she is elleven she started as a footballer and is absolutely amazing she is really small so we gave her a nickname it’s Percil because she is small but mighty this whole season she has not let a single goal in and we have won or drawn every game😅 But this is so fr for our sub goalie 😅
Bro won the trend 😮😅
I stole 3 balls pls don’t tell anyone but there only old ones OOP my seceret is out (oh no 😟)
It’s especially the worst when it’s a drill we’re u have to be in line and u get to the front they tell u to come in and u lose ur spot At the front of the line 😢😢😢😢😢😢
My hole face dropped when u hit that 😮
Nice bro keep up the good work I need to learn those skills 👍

Damn man nice now do it but with a tomahawk
Hansen Crescent
theres no way this is real
Are these legal????
Literally Me lol 😂
No. First thing is to buy an extra low bow (option with groove) hockey stick. Learn to use in general play, then move on to drag flick. At no point have you mentioned the stick profile you are using.
There are plenty of internationals who flick with a regular low bow - some even mid to low bow sticks. An Extreme low bow certainly helps the action and power of drag flicking, but it isn't a must have. For example Alex Hendrickx uses a LBX shape, a standard low bow with no groove.
Brill, very clearly instructions! thank you
Never I only win
That’s what happened today wtf
