Hey Sam, thanks for this video. Question. I noticed that if you have login and social links elements on, then those items are also displayed outside the hamburger menu. Do you have a specific coding for keeping those items in burger and just having the button outside the burger menu?

Squarespace is trash

I click on change to 7.1, it says some things might look different, i click continue, it asks me to select a new home page... No matter what i select, it doesn't give me the option to continue. Just stuck in the "select a new homepage" pop up.

Hi Sam. This video was helpful. I have a related question... part of the reason that I overlap blocks on purpose in my design is because my text blocks are adding too much blank space to the top or bottom of my text block. I make sure there is no extra space or line characters at the beginning of my text block and squish the block as small as I can make it. It seems that the extra space effect depends somewhat on the font I'm using, is that correct? My base size is 16px, Line Height is 1.5em, and size of Paragraph 2 (in this case) is 1.1rem. The site isn't live yet so not ready to send a link. I was wondering is you had another video perhaps that addresses this topic. Thanks! Maureen Edit: As a test, I just reduced the grid size as described and that did help with the spacing, although there still was a little more space than I'd like between blocks. Can you explain the relationship between the edit time grid and how that affects spacing?

Thanks for the explanation, much appreciated! You've help several others with getting the link to the cart to still show up along side the hamburger menu. When I add the code you suggest in these cases, it sends the menu to the left next to the logo, instead of aligned to the right along with the cart. Even after fussing with the code and Squarespace settings, I can't seem to get past this. Any suggestions?

Is there a way (without using developer mode) where you can serve a larger file (170MB)? It seems to upload when im posting as a link object but it never allows me to select it (i watch the file move up fully to the server through my inspector). Thanks!
