Building A Web App With Only Prompts | Goosing Around, Ep 1
these AI crap is like mushrooms after the rain.
Very impressive
Seems like this entire tool, company and marketing is generated by AI… pretty impressive work!
Block is a huge company. Founded by Jack Dorsey
I really need it for Windows without WSL
We're looking into support for Windows!
Thank you for this information.
Local ai models are not even close as powerful as cloud models, except you have an infra similar to a cloud in your backyard

これはAIエージェントです。 LLM (モデルプロバイダー) と連携してタスクの自動化を支援します。
Love the idea but how olis it different from let's say chat gpt or codepilot when it comes to actual code generation?
@TalesOfHeilotia it goes further by actually doing the work vs telling you how to do the work
the way the speaker slightly laughs at the end haha
is it free
@@LearnthingswithRonnie yes, completely open source
this perfect
How can we get a framer extension so it can build webites.
Honestly, Block Open Source is an interesting choice of words. But I like the work you're putting in
Love your work, trying to add external MCP, bet one of yall could put together a hints post to smooth that out for a dummy like myself. It's pretty obvious I'm missing something obvious ;-)
Check out our docs ;) block.github.io/goose/docs/getting-started/using-extensions Let us know if this helps you.
Goose is the f bomb yo I can't even tell you how godlike this feels
Just another rug pull. I gave it a defined and simple prompt to code a full stack site. Like all of these tools it showed great promise in the beginning and then just gave em the same fucing error over and over and over no matter what i did. They are like a strong but very out of shape fat guy who starts a marathon too fast and then can't finish it. One day soon these things will be flawless... but not today.
most of the llms don't have enough context for entire full stack applications, you have to go piece by piece. try cline, it has tasks. you can divide the app into small tasks, which you can automate with cline.
you have a skill issue if you think a fulls tack site comes from a single prompt
Where’s the difference between this and Windsurf
looking goooood
I’ve only seen it run terminal commands so far. Disappointed since I thought it was going to actually use my computer (keyboard + mouse). Also, weird to invest in JetBraibs when VSCode/Cursor is a thing.
it makes use of MCP extensions. enable Computer Controller if you want it to use your computer. And if Cursor or VSCode have MCP servers, you can certainly use them!
🔥
Wooow! This is awesome! 😮
Some of the github community mcp servers have complicated installation instructions, how do you facilitate these are not in extensions ?
If you have any suggested MCP servers you'd like for our team to look at, drop your suggestions in our GitHub or on our Discord! We're always receptive to feedback. Our curated selection of Extensions are verified and tested by our team. For extensions/MCP servers outside of these, we don't have docs for unless it's something we verify is a good extension for the community.
Please add Windows support!
Seconded
It works on windows, there just isn’t an app for windows.
@maxfahl only cli support, no windows desktop gui
We are looking into it!
$SQ / Block is so based
People used to say cool. Now they say based instead. But what is based based on? 🤔
is it available for windows?
only cli support, no windows desktop gui
We are looking into Windows support. Thank you for your comment!
How can I find more about how to use the Figma integration?
You can find it referenced in our list of curated Extensions here: block.github.io/goose/v1/extensions/ Hope this helps!

@@blockopensource that does not say what it does. Amy more info?
This is epic! I just installed it (one of the easiest installations ever) and I'm literally in AWE!
How much did they pay you 😅😂
@@SaltyJuan I wish they did haha! I actually loved the tool and it's truly one of the easiest open-source installations I've done in a long time.
@@SaltyJuanbro it's open source 😭
Nice
Well done Tinashe! Great presentation and well explained!
Well presented Tinashe!
s it posible to come up with a video on installation of goose upto the extension?
Cool AI, and I integrate CLI as well ??
Yes, works right in your CLI as well.
