Saw this tour twice. WOW!

Aerosmith in the 90s was magical. They made more money on tour and sold more albums in the 90s than any other era it’s insane. Get a Grip , Big Ones, Little south of sanity , and Nine Lives Millions upon millions Love it . Pump and Rocks are my fav albums but aerosmith in the 90s was just a Rolling Stones size beast 🎉

I honestly couldn't even tell this was audio from San Diego for a minute, it was synced so well with the footage, almost thought it was raw audience audio, if any exists/existed, from the Austin 97 show. You did a fantastic job with this :)

here's night 1 notes: Where to even begin with this 'weekend'? So...Aerosmith on April 27 gets announced...and some big country artist (Toby Keith? Brooks & Dunn? Travis Tritt?) was announced for the next night at the Sullivan. While it sold well, Aerosmith sold out in days, so they wanted to add a 2nd show...but instead of the day *before* (26th), they did it the day after the country show. So they had to bascially build their set from scratch both nights, leaving their stage in place...and making a 3 day weekend more like 5 (though these shows were early in the week). All that said, I got my prime taper tickets (near and in line with the right PA stack, close to beer and bathrooms) the day they went on sale, doing the "sit in line at midnight thing". I knew the agent real well, so being first in line, she had the tix I wanted already loaded in the system, so when noon hit, the 8 tix (max) were printing before 12:01. I miss Connie, that chick was tits! The real issue here is the music, as this was I believe a stop on their way back from Japan, and then they had a series of shows to play that Summer...that didn't happen (more on that later). But most Aerosmith fans know that when the band goes to Japan...old songs get dusted off. This show was for the OLDheads...when the 4th song is a frentic and frenzied 10 minute long "Rats In The Cellar", you just know you're in for a treat. Nearly half the set was made up of 70's material, and the other real treat was a loose, not-very-rehearsed version of "Pandora's Box", which made it's first appearance since the late 70's, I believe. Clearly, the Japanese influence was still strong when they hit the Last Frontier. So, in the interest of brevity, I will just migrate to the cliched phrase of "Let The Music Do The Talking", and let your ears be the judge. 'Cuz the REAL story is "chapter 2"...some of the coolest shit I've EVER seen, bar none. His name is Dennis, and he once again has stepped up and served a classic slab of live material for your enjoyment. I'll start: THANKS DENNIS! As for me...trying to decide whether I prefer itching or swelling. Will let you know at a future date. ---ballsdeep is chafed and raring to go....
