ONE LIFE ADVENTURE
Romania
Ahoy there!
I am Șerban Mihai-Daniel... a wanderer of roads, both near and far.
I am a person who enjoys exploring the open road on my motorcycle and often I seek out scenic routes and interesting locations.
Most of the time I travel alone because I have a passion for adventure and the freedom that comes with being alone on a motorcycle.
Cars hold a special place in my heart as well ... I had a personal drift car project on which I tested both my driving and mechanic skills :))))
Since I was a kid I have been interested in the mechanical aspects of motorcycles and cars and I enjoy working on them, fixing them and customising them to suit my personal style.
On my youtube channel I post my adventures, my motorcycle tests and rides and all the things I do and of which I am passionate about.
This is my ONE LIFE ADVENTURE and you can enjoy it along with me on UA-cam, Instagram and Facebook.
I hope to see you around.

My first time Off-Road on the Trans Euro Trail with my Royal Enfield Himalayan

🏍️🌍 Join me, on an unforgettable journey as I take my Royal Enfield Himalayan on small portion of the Trans Euro Trail. This wasn't just a ride, it was a test of endurance, skill, and the will to keep going, no matter what. 🚧🌲 From smooth terrains to rocky paths, I faced it all. There were crashes, some harder than others, but every fall was a lesson learned. The struggle was real, but so was t...

Today's video is just a test of my new camera. You probably already saw in my last video (BMW G310GS Review) that I have a new camera which has a much better video and audio quality ... but this video posted here today is actually the first test I did with it... This is filmed in the first day I got the camera :) Unfortunately the sound was still from my old DJI which was mounted on my helmet ....

Great Video! Thanks. Do you have an idea if the changes are also made for the models for Germany? Or if there are differences? Thanks.🤘
Thanks ☺️ I’m happy to see that you liked it. The changes should be identical in all countries of the European Union 🇪🇺 .
@@ONE.LIFE.ADVENTUREDo you have experience with fuelflex pro ? They are claiming a lot of useful things. I am right now considering buying a Himalayan and then installing fuelflex pro but I am curious if it’s worth it. 😅
Great video on the changes to the 2023 Himalayan. I needed to see this. From what you say they have fixed the niggling issues with the bike. Things I thought I would have to live with if I bought the bike. Now I know to get the 23 model.🌟
Thanks. ☺️ I’m happy that you liked the video.
Bro what app you do use ? Can you do that for me?
I have another video on the channel. It’s a step by step tuning guide. You will find all the information there.
Foarte concis.
Mersi
@@ONE.LIFE.ADVENTURE am văzut ulterior, mulțam!
Cu plăcere 🤭
When i do The math, The car im lookinh to but end up on around 10 weight/hp.. is it impossible to drift?
You me more power or less weight. I think both are good 😊
Nice video
Thanks
But what about pro drift like FD and etc.? How much HP and Torque is actually required?
About 4-5 years ago I saw the legendary Nobushige Kumakubo winning in Formula D Japan at Ebisu with just 400 HP. Indeed Ebisu it’s his backyard basically but still that man is a legend. But for us simple mortals probably we need 600 HP for Pro Level drift events.
pt un opel insignia 131 hp ?
Ce anume vrei cu acest Opel ? 🤣🤣
I completely agree this bike is so much fun to ride! However I wouldn't say it's just for beginners: I'm an "old" experienced rider but I really enjoyed testing this bike independently. So easy and lightweight and so much fun to ride. 😊
Yeah it’s definitely not just for beginners. But a lot of experienced riders don’t understand the joy of ridding a small bike. I’m happy to see that you like it as well.
Salut. Da, se încadrează la A2.
You mentioned that you are a tall and big rider. How tall and big? I am 6'4" and about 260 pounds.
I am 185 cm tall and about 110 kg without the gear 🤭

Ahah fantastic review thank you

Thanks ☺️
Cum e cu consumul dupa eliminarea clapetei disa?
Mai mare cu 0.3 L la 100 km
Frumos clipul, cu multe informații interesante 👍
Mersi 👌🏻
Hello I really appreciate your video. It helped me a lot. But I have some problem with my car. I think my ecu might have been reprogrammed before, and I don't have the original map and i want to start tunningon a good base. Can you send me your original software
Hi. Thanks for your message but unfortunately I don’t have the files anymore. Like I mentioned at the end if my last video, I sold everything I had, including the drift car project and everything related to it.
Congratulations, looks super nice! Where is this Section?
Thanks. It’s a section of the TET in România which goes over the Baiului Mountains

I'm trying this right now. Started by taking those two bolts off the oil cooler to move it and it's tube out of the way, but even with both bolts off it doesn't budge! Feels like it's screwed in elsewhere. Any tips?
It could be stuck from the heat that melted the rubber mounting bushings
I have a 2023 701 in the UK and a 2019 KTM 690 Enduro. I’m 18 days into a 23 day ride on the 690 in the US and now at well over 3,000 miles. We’re riding about 6 hours a day without trouble. It has a Seat Concepts seat and a Nomad rally tower. It has been superb on and off road (50:50 in terms of time). The fuel economy is incredible at around 3.5L/100KM. I’m riding with my old buddy on a Tiger 900 Rally. I’m filling every other time. The seat has taken away the vibration but handle bar anti-vibration clamps would help. The road manners are excellent even on Anakee Wild tyres. No scary moments. Off-road the traction control is utterly superb keeping me safe on so many different surfaces. The quick shifter is very good especially on difficult off-road sections where momentum is vital. My aim is to make the 701 as good as the 690. The Euro 5 tune isn’t great but I can live with it. I’m going to sell my 890 Adventure which is heavy and whilst a great bike the 701 is my preferred ride.
Hi. Thanks for all this information. I think a lot of people will find it useful
@@ONE.LIFE.ADVENTURE My pleasure. Our trip ended on Saturday with 4,200 miles covered. The bike was superb and every day unique. It was absolutely the right bike for me for our trip!
Nice 😊 I happy to see that you guys had an awesome time on your trip 🥳🤘🏻
@@ONE.LIFE.ADVENTURE Thanks. It was pretty epic and helped by almost no rain and decent overnight stops.
Hello, all good lately? Can I feature your clip for my youtube edit? I'll credit you with watermark on screen of course. Thanks in advance.
Sure. 👌🏻
The 2023 model don't have a navigation screen anymore?
It’s an optional feature

I hope your situation gets better. I bought a 2018 himalayan now 5 years ago and i to was going to sell it but resale value is low and replacements are expensive. So i bought a nmw racing performance kit, only $700 includes cam amd big bore kit it's transformed the bike , it's a Indian company but kit is top quality.
Thanks for the message and the good wishes ✌️😀
Damn, it has low resale value? Here in Norway I am sitting with 5500 USD in hand looking for anyone willing to sell me their used Himalayan 411, and there is no one.. Hello? Anyone? 😭

Are you sad *you sold your himmi? You can’t be in my club anymore 😢
😔🥺
185 cms, 110 kgs and you cant pick up a Himalayan? I would use the money on gym membership.
Have you ever lifted a heavy motorcycle off-road more than once ? Or even better ... Did you ever ride your motorcycle off-road ?... I really think not ... You don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about.
@@ONE.LIFE.ADVENTURE I ride a BMW f650gs, i picked it up 4 times in an hour in 40c in the Albanian hills. Im 73kg 165 cms and fit.
Somehow I really doubt that :)))))
@@ONE.LIFE.ADVENTURE I was there, you weren't, like i said i am fit but the last time was hard, at 40c your energy goes real fast. @@ONE.LIFE.ADVENTUREI also wish you all the best for your future.
You need Enduro
Yes. A CRF 300 Rally, with some upgrades, could be a good fit ... but at the moment I have to prioritize other things.
That's a shame, hope everything goes well for you my friend
Thank you.
The top speed of the Himalayan is posted on their website and well known. It's not the bike fault, you picked the wrong bike for your type of riding. The bulk of Himalayan riders are in countries that have low speed limits, 70 km/h and don't allow motorcycles on expressways, etc. In the USA the rural road speed limit is 55 MPH or 88 km which meets the bikes performance envelope of 94 mph or 150 Km/h .
The maximum top speed that I achieved with my Himalayan was 115 Kph on the GPS... which is not even close to what you are saying... also the 0 to 100 Kph time is over 17 second's which is very slow ... but don't get me wrong ... I'm not trashing the bike... and if you really watched the video and you really listened you heard that I still think this is a good motorcycle but not for me ... I knew the Himalayan is not a speed demon and that's why this was only my last reason for selling the bike ... not the first .... anyway... like I said in the video... this is a good motorcycle for the money and for beginners.
Got rid of it in november 2022. Got it in june 2021. Reason: Got me stranded twice due to cheap relays. The instrument panel was fogging up too often. Power/weight ratio wasn't balanced. Overall not a bad experienced, but I prefered the more power on the X-Cape Morini. The Morini has been reliable since november 2022 and a better experience overall.
Wow. Sorry to hear that you got stranded because of the relay issues ☹️ But yeah, I also discovered myself that the Himalayan has some limitations and I felt the need to share them.
Sorry to hear you had a hard year - needing to part with these toys would have hurt but I hope you're doing better now and that money is being put to good use. Good luck brother
Thank you ✌️ It was a rough period but it's starting to get better... Thank you for your support.
