Hey Shugg, where's your Backup Axe?
Jeez, I've had every band I've been in since around '74 do Me 'n My Woman, and followed Shuggie's music as much as possible. Why would you put this embarrassment online? It sure won't boost his career. I'm sorry I felt I had to say that, I really am.
what the fuck are you talking about?
I’ve been coming to this spot for years. Great breakfast burritos and it’s always fun watching this dude just rocking the griddle. You can see how hard he works and how skilled he is. He should get his own Food Network show!
I wonder if that was a PU rubber soccer ball. Soccer was VERY popular sport throughout the 1970s, early 1980s. I collect old, vintage rubber soccer balls, from over 40 years ago. Many of them (not all) were used in soccer games in the 1970s, early 1980s. The ones most likely to have been used in soccer games were made of polyurethane rubber (PU). This synthetic rubber composite was softer than vulcanized, latex, and PVC rubber. Any rubber soccer ball that was made from PU rubber was of higher quality. PU rubber was essentially a leather rubber, and great as either a practice ball or game ball. Today, if anyone had a "game used" soft PU rubber soccer ball from over 40 years ago, and it did not have "dry rot", It could be worth easily over $100, and in some cases, over $500. I do not care if they are badly worn from years of play, and I do not care if they are flat. All I ask is, they be size 5 (full size), made of PU rubber, and no dry rot. Again, I wonder if this was a PU rubber soccer ball. If it was, it would be worth quite a bit today, no matter how worn and flat it is, I would pay a great deal for it. I wish folks didn't throw old rubber soccer balls away, just because they are flat and very worn. Someone (ME) is willing to buy them.
cool
FIRE THE FUCKING SOUNDMAN 💥👺👹
Superb
Powerfull
Shuggie is a great guitarist but underrated.
This is a real understanding crowd. Kill the sound guy !!!
This club is huge... the stage is on the long wall, and if you get right up on the stage the mains are aimed past you on the sides and you just hear stage volume...
ilkeit
Not a comment since 8/10/15 - two years?? I can't believe I missed this myself - I'm always looking for more Shuggie! My musical brother turned me onto Shuggie in 1969. It's great to see some life back in his playing, but he sounded at least this good as a 15-year-old... Keep coming back Shuggie!!
This is great to watch. I remember trailering with my parents and brothers from the late 60's to the early to mid 70's and my Father with his ever present 8mm movie camera.....Great Times!
