Ted Wong: Floating on Air
Переглядів 52 тис.13 років тому
This video is from my first seminar where Ted was trying to explain that footwork was needed with each movement. In the first part, his body is moving and he comments that eventually the person will catch up to you if you don't combine footwork with your head movement.

Ted long was completely delusional and never produced one good student. He was always looking for people to follow him so he could get attention. He asked me to leg kick him and I wouldn’t do it because I felt sorry for him because he was delusional.

A drunk and a narcissist lazily flopping through some forms. No wonder no one takes them seriously.

Imagine being able to legitimately claim that you personally knew and were trained by Bruce Lee. Even before his passing, Jesse Glover was still lightning fast.

And after all those years the result is second rate paddy cake that we have never seen anyone use in a real fight.

@@corylaverdure4488 Good thing I am typing and not talking. ...And I am still waiting to see this second rate paddy cake used in a real fight. Cant do that? Ok, how about a MMA match? Nope, you got no video of that either. Ok, how about the great grand daddy master in an actual full speed, full contact sparring match...??? Nope, cant do that either...too deadly....but we got some great stories!!! .Jesus!

@JohnJohnson-pq4qz Yes, ridiculous compound trapping sequences don't work, but I'm not sure what you find unrealistic about this small clip? Are you saying in the history of fighting, nobody has never knocked a hand out of the way, trapped a hand or immobilized a hand and then landed a punch?

@@JohnJohnson-pq4qz If you’ve never seen a backfist or someone slapping the hand out of the way in an MMA fight you’re either not a fan or you need glasses.

Two great examples of Ted's teachings can be found with Joaquín Marcelo and Mike Gittleson. I highly recommend training with either one if anyone gets the chance to.
