False Fire Alarm At Cubic Apartments
I've had to postpone the follow up to last weeks video due to audio errors which will be fixed. In the meantime here's another short opportunist vlog experiment filmed on the evening of Saturday 25-1-2025. Whilst walking home I observed many fire engines speeding into the town centre therefore decided to investigate. Fortunately I had my camera on me and knew there was potential for video content.

28 Years Later Zombie Caravan Off Miller Road.
Переглядів 627День тому
On 22nd January 2025 I came across a caravan which had been attacked by zombies down a back alley off Miller road in Ribbleton. Whilst exploring the caravan something happened to me as I entered the toilet wherein it was fortunate the zombies had left the area! As this is a short video there will be another short - and coincidentally similar - film next weekend. Subsequently I will be returning...
Final Demolition Of Ribble Heights, Grange Estate, Ribbleton.

I am so gutted that I never knew 5 blocks of flats on the Grange estate in Ribbleton had been abandoned for some time before being demolished! It was a recent Blog Preston article that made me aware. At least I managed to capture some of the final stages of the demolition, they were probably impossible to get in anyway due to the high security and metal sheets on all the entrances and windows.....

In late July 2024 I stumbled upon an abandoned newsagents. The shop entrance had been bricked up but I could get into the accommodation above. As I ascended the stairs it appeared the dwelling wasn't quite as abandoned as it seemed! Also when it was time to leave I was virtually trapped as someone decided to sit in a car outside for half an hour! Thanks for watching and for your continued suppo...

A Very Underwhelming Return Of The Fire Demons On Miller Park

On the 8th December 2024 I returned to Miller Park in Preston to film the latest fire demon festival. Unfortunately the event wasn't quite as exciting as in 2023, possibly due to the threat of a storm stifling the event, I also arrived late and probably missed some of the performances. I did however have some interesting theories about what was going on there including a Bohemian Grove style ce...

Thanks Matthew. I wish I could go in again and get on the roof, impossible now.
@bryannamyo oooo not true my friend. I know a way in if you don't mind a quick climb up a ladder?
There's been many opportunities to get in with a ladder via those first floor windows, I don't tend to carry a set around with me, lol. I think the latest open window has been boarded up now anyway if I'm not mistaken.
@@bryannamyo you get the ladder from whatever scaffolding is closest. You're allowed to film in public!
Yes I know that but some people don't like being filmed especially in situations such as this when the camera is more likely to be directly in someones face.
It's up to people to understand that it's the way the world works today ( just like CCTV in the 80s/90s). You don't need to stop for their benefit.
I understand that. However, I disagree with not needing to stop for peoples benefit. There are many reasons why it is wise to avoid capturing people on film if asked and the reasons are fair and good.
They don't have that many engines there when something's REALLY burning on Church Street. Reckon someone wants Crystal House protected for some reason. Perhaps the regulars at Turtle Bay. Nobody would really be sorry if it burned down. A lot of elderly Preston residents still haven't forgiven the council for knocking down the remnants of the old Town Hall on that site back in 1962.
I preferred how this block looked when it was Crystal House to be honest, despite it still being a terrible replacement for the Town Hall. It would be great to see a replica of the previous Hall built there instead.
Naa what happened mate
It was a big nothing, lol.

Definitely something orb like about it although it was a triangle shape overall.
The caravan came out of the yard where all the tyres came from, the caravan was used by a person i know and was used as a temp home but has not been used it in a few years, all the stuff belongs to a guy who lives behind the miller road cafe who buys and sells vans.
That's interesting to know, thanks for the info.😎
Thank you for this informative video. I love all these videos and also I just found some videos on London or was it just the UK I am not sure but it said that one and 50 people are homeless is that true? Is it London or just the UK itself? I’m not sure let me know what you think because I am really sad and buy the deterioration of the United Kingdom… as well as the cultural deterioration, where people do not even have a Culture of their own anymore, because of the multi media, and the powers that be… things are going a little better for me, but it’s hard out there!
Apparently that was London in 2023, right now according to a search there are roughly 354,000 people homeless in the UK. This country has become a dump, well not all of it although it's probably not the best place to live long term. Your right, I don't think there's much culture here any more, only increasing chaos and depravity. I would love to live in the United States or Canada perhaps. I'm pleased there have been improvements in your life and can only hope for more.
Fascinating urbex!
Thanks Meowcow.

What a cool idea. AI blows my mind. I'm always half mega impressed half terrified

All the buildings you see that make up ribble heights are going, no plans in place to replace, just a heads up, these sites are monitored by motion detector vision they cover all internal site monitoring and is linked directly to security and police, but yeah, it's going back to the original estate as i remember before they came, and for the forcible future, will return to nature, 👍
That's good to know, in a way. Sounds like there wouldn't have been much of an opportunity to enter the buildings. I'm wondering if any of the other blocks are being demolished or if it was only those 5?
@bryannamyo it's all the high rise blocks going, it's only the original Grange estate houses that are staying, all the blocks are pritty much if not vacated for demolition, and as i say, no plan to replace them, will return as it was before ribble heights was built buddy
@@gee1502 Interesting, thanks!

Where are your videos Jerry
Councils really need to start getting rid of poor single people and bringing in middle and working class families that can afford to pay tax. You just see how run down they all are now and it's so sad, I see it in my local town as well and they shrug that they have no money..... Yeah no one wants to live here because you're imported crack heads and immigrants and you pay for them to be there. Kick everyone out, knock down the ugly tower blocks and build middle class housing for families. No more benefits or social crap, totally redevelop the area and then you can lower tax for everyone as people will actually be paying tax, you wont go wasting it all on social housing and benefits. I know so many people at work that pretend to be split up from their partner who gets a free house and benefits cause she has kids, yet none of them are from this country lol. No questions are ever asked like "who is the father?" "how come you're pregnant again if you're broken up?" "Why has he got his stuff in the house?" lol. It is time to stop the race to the bottom and it is time to tell people to work or die.
You don’t want anyone knowing you been there but then post it on UA-cam? 😂😂

Great video mate! I've been wanting to know what that place looked like, as no work has been done on it since 2020.

And this probably wasn't even in the top 50 of the most dodgy and questionable actions going on in Plungy that night. You should have worn a hi-vis vest. Not only might it have brightened the lighting during filming - NOBODY would ever question anyone in hi-vis going down a works hole. I was just down the road from here today on St. George's Road. I was taking someone to Deepdale Stadium via the "scenic route".
No I didn't want to wear a hi-vis vest as it would have had the opposite effect of not being seen, I prefer stealth, not to be noticed whatsoever. It also wouldn't have guaranteed elusion especially due to the time of day. I doubt it would have had any effect on the lighting in the confined space, perhaps even causing reflective glare. The torch was good enough, the initial problem was the lens steaming up, not so much lighting. Apparently the cover was supposed to be replaced on the 20th according to someone I spoke to but it still hasn't.
Haha so true, this was defo not top 50 in Plungy dodgyness! Good video though. Valid tip with the Hi Viz jacket too Crazy how much those things can make you invisible sometimes
@ No, lol! I already dismissed the idea of the hi vis jacket, it can backfire. In this instance, time and place, minimising not being seen whatsoever was safer.
@bryannamyo hey bro, you're the one out there on UA-cams front lines so stick with whatever works for you! Still, I dare you to make a January blues stream of consciousness video. Judging from your honest and amusing narration in this one I think it'd be great. Hey and maybe exactly what someone out there in UA-cam land needed to hear to feel a little less alone.

Very strange how so many listed buildings go up in flames ! I wonder if anyone checks to see how many of them have had planning permission refused prior to the fires, or have been on the market without any potential buyers.

Yes, It was at one time. I only remember it being many night clubs in the 1990's onwards including Arrabella's, PR1 and Rumes to name a few. It finally became Mokai before closing in 2014. I live in Preston Preston
Hope Pete Marquis disposed of all that rubble properly - he's already under a suspended sentence for improper disposal of a load of tyres. I was on Church Street about half an hour before this place went up. I was in the Twelve Tellers and passed it on the way to Aldi. I was also in town the day the Odeon went up, and for one of the St. Joseph's fires. It's true - if you're in Preston often enough, you will eventually see something burn down. Apparently, they wanted to keep the takeaway after demolishing the upper floors. I guess the place became structurally unsound after they knocked the fired damaged bits down. Reckon after Christmas the site will be resurfaced and it'll become another car park like most of the empty lots round there.
Interesting info. I managed to capture some of the Odeon burning down, I uploaded a video of it which can be found on my channel. Yes, a certain song by Joni Mitchell springs to mind!
I have the video of it on my phone 📱

What is the meaning of all this decat?👽
Signs of a dying world.
I meant to spell the word decay properly… yes, it does seem to be that we have decay on all sorts of levels. There’s no doubt about that and anyone who doesn’t see this is a completely blind, but thank you for sharing this if you want to elaborate, please let me know.
I filmed many good urbexes during the lockdown years. My first urban exploration videos were the backyards of some houses pending demolition for a new University building. I may be winding them down next year and resuming music production.
Well, there’s a lot of deterioration going on, but what can we do to that of the situation?
Try to survive the coming Apocalypse.

It's something I like to do.😎
Don't worry, it soon will be abandoned.
I'll be waiting.😄
I go past this 6 times a week and I still can't figure out any plausible way to get in and out of the place. I assume cars will be going in through Tenterfield Street and out via Ringway. Certainly no issues going to occur there or anything. I work on Friargate and have done throughout the "improvements". The only street users I've seen that it's been made easier for is the illegal electric delivery bikers who bomb down the middle of it. The mystery concrete thing on the side of Iceland? I say Blue Plaque it. If nothing else to commemarate the last 60 years of dubious and unintended consequence-filled history of Preston "renovations".
You've raised an interesting point I didn't really think about. I believe the entrance to the car park is on Ringway. If you look behind the shutters you can see the Max Headroom (Not the digital Network 23 guy) sign and directional arrows. Perhaps the exit is Tenterfield Street. Yes put a plaque on it with Paul Newman's quote.😄
@@bryannamyo Tenterfield Street as is runs from Lancaster Road, under Ringway and out at Lawson Street in front of the Magistrate's Court. I don't know which way the road will be routed but I see problems either way. But I think LCC have reasoned most people will get there on the bus and will walk from either the bus station or the stops on Ringway. Be interesting to know how many spaces there are on the Animate car park.
That's right, it hasn't changed much from the original layout. I don't think there are as many spaces as the old car park although I'm not sure, a lot of it isn't visible.
