Holy crap, dude. I thought the snore was an added sound effect until you went through the breakdown. I'm glad your dad was there to calmly talk you through and help. It might take a while for your concussion symptoms to completely fade (speaking from experience). Try to be patient with yourself and heal up.

@@MTB_adventures_with_Sam when I got my concussion at Kanuga, there was no snoring. I did go "full wookie" though. Take your time; I always get back on the bike too fast after an injury.

@@_drawkward_ the snoring thing is actually kind of interesting to me from a medical standpoint. My guess is that it’s just because you’re still breathing so hard but not consciously doing so or something similar?

@@MTB_adventures_with_Sam Probably just that you landed in a weird position and your uvula partially blocked your windpipe, but it is always a good idea to get checked out after a concussion. I participated in this race but during day one during that massive rain storm is when we started our runs (we should have started climbing sooner) but then my bike broke and I couldn't fix it before day 2 race so I didn't even get to finish the race 😢

Yeah it was crazy! I could not race day 2 either. the ran storm hit as I was climbing up for the second time. The climbing trail turned into a running river in no time! sorry about your bike; that sucks! I hope to see you there next year, and I hope we have better conditions!

Haha, love the ebike charger. Certainly looks fun! But for a newbie, do you have any location suggestions around Newest. I have an older lous Garneau, 80mm travel , hard tail. do you think I could survive a little bit of downhill with a bike like I have?

Well I'm not from BC, so I might not be the best person to ask, but I tend to think that what trails to ride depend more on the rider than the bike. with that being said, I would try bobsled to start with and see how it goes. I have a video on it so you can see how it looks. hope that helps!
