I can see why the campus would not want all that writing presented on the property even though it's public but that's no reason to try and ruin her stay and right to be there as a student. I can see if she kept doing it or wrote messed up things but that time is harmless. As someone who works for a campus police department ... College kids are just as bad as the "cop block" people. They think they know the law and they really don't. Here is a helpful hint do not interfere with the police when they are handling a call that does not involve you. Campus police have dual roles we are University officials and law enforcement officials. So we can enforce ALL university policies and local, county, state, and federal laws. If the patch and badge says POLICE we are the POLICE we go through the same training as local, county, and state police officers. So next time you have an encounter with University Police and think they are not real police officers think again.
