I rented a car and drove there. If you rent a car, rent it from JM Cancun. It’s off of Bonfil north of the airport. I rent from them every time I go there and I go twice a year. It was $175 USD for 7 days and a $150 deposit. With full coverage insurance as well. Also, Easy way car rental is great too. Take the toll road. There is about $42 USD in tolls round trip. It’s worth it, though. The roads are a lot nicer and well kept. Also, if you have car troubles you can call the green angels for roadside assistance. It’s one of the perks of paying the toll. It’s a straight shot, all highway there. Stop by Valladolid on the way and stop at a cenote!! Go early, you don’t want to drive after dark. The roads are not well lit and animals cross the road often. There are topes especially coming into our out of the cities and towns. It’s hard to see them and see obstacles in the road if it is dark. As for police, I’ve never had issues. However, I’ve made sure I “drive like a Mexican” to sort of blend in. The perk of renting from a local rental agency is that you get cars that are not obviously rentals. Also, they don’t charge a high deposit or try to scam you.

There were some tour representatives in the hotel and they told us about the packages and pricing, so we booked through them. In the morning, the tour bus picked up people from different resorts. You can also book online from Xcaret website as well but in our experience, packages online were a little bit more expensive. Thank you for the support! ❤

Yes, they provide life jackets so you can snorkel if you don't know swimming. The area we were in wasn't too deep but it was slippery so I'd suggest using the life jackets. The buffet restaurant is called "OAXACA" :)

@@LensofSaika_Canada I ws able to walk around for hours - but I think the show is @ 9 or so in the evening for about 30m or so. When I was there they lit up all the main buildings and we walked around for a long time. And the hotel(s) were walking distance to the south - they had a spa, and a few lodging options with pools. Down near the restaurant, etc. Who can say they actually stayed overnight there? Good luck!

@ that’s when we’re trying to go! I haven’t been to Cancun in almost ten years. Did you go to the center (where all the clubs are)? Just curious if it felt safe for women because I’m hesitant to take my girlfriend out of the hotel grounds. Also, I hear the food isn’t all that good at the hotel. Were you ladies satisfied? Does all inclusive include some restaurants too or just snacks and buffet? Thanks 😊

We didn't go to the club areas but we did go to downtown for some shopping and it was pretty safe during the day but we tried to stick to popular places where there were other tourists . We have a downtown Cancun video if it helps: ua-cam.com/video/ql7YFUJ_uY0/v-deo.html we both are vegetarians so we felt the food was a bit limited but it didn't taste bad but it also depends on the resort you book, some have better food than others haha. It included all restaurants, buffets and snacks. For some restaurants you had to book in advance. Hope this helps - let us know if you have any other questions. 😊

If you are Indian citizen then they don’t check for any documents in India. But when you come back to Canada you’ll need to show visa + permit (study or work) or PR card. Hope that helps :)

Hey! Yes they were amazing! Recipe: We used small tortillas and used schezwan sauce + mayonnaise as sauce. For topping we used diced tomato and onion, added some lettuce for the crunchiness. Finally the protein, fried paneer! You can also add salt, pepper and lemon to add more flavour. Do let us know if you try it! :)
