Hi, I'm interested but I have the impression that on a Suzuki SJ 413 with an alternator that only delivers 65A it's not enough to keep the battery charged! maybe you would also need a more powerful alternator or do you have a discount for a suzuki samurai sj413?
GR8T job Luis. The checks in the mail
Hi, if I install the compressor and don't like it can I use a regular belt drive compressor with the rest of the system. I know the wiring/hoses would have to be addressed but does the evap unit care with compressor I use?
Is it required to change the original car battery?
No, you don´t need to change the battery. Contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
In the digital nomad / vanlife world, the complaints I see against this compressor relate to its power consumption. The problem is, specifications list only surge power and peak power consumption. Do you have any videos of the system in process, showing us what we might expect start-up surge and steady state power consumption to be? Thank you!
Hi, thanks for contacting us. Please get in touch with our sellers at (888) 907-0705, they will help you with this. Thank you.
My car use conventional AC .. i think to move to AC electric. what should i do before change it? Can i just replace the compressor only (to electric compressor) and use the installed native AC car part ?
Hi, yes, you need to change the compressor. Don´t hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
You spelled potential wrong
Thank you for your feedback.
I have a 2000 black durango with a 5.9 V8 with a 270amp alternator. Which system will be best for my setup?
Hi, Both systems will perform very well. Don´t hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
Any chance to replace an existing belt driven compressor to an electrical one? Wonder if is possible to replace my van ac compressor to run, specially while parked, from my EcoFlow Delta Pro. Delta Pro has a 12v 30A output Anderson connector.
Hi, yes, you can use our electric compressor, you will need to do some adaptations only. Don´t hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
You say this is not used to replace your belt driven compressor in a car that already had AC. Why is this? I have done an engine swap that affords no room for a belt drive compressor. I want to use a 12V compressor adapted to my old system.
Hi, you can use the electrical system, but you need to make some adaptations. Don´t hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
Wanted to stay and listen but that MuZaK was a bit too much. And it's hard to un-hear. Maybe next time. Thumbs up however (for the efforts). Cheers
Thank you for your feedback.
can I use this on all cars that previously uses belt? do I need a bigger battery and a bigger charging alternator?
TANSTAAFL. Since it is advertised as electric, the power will have to come from your alternator, assuming it has the capacity. Fortunately, most automotive alternators have some extra capacity; but not all. I would consider replacing the existing belt driven compressor with a belt driven 24VDC alternator use solely to operate the new electric compressor (assuming they have a 24DC version).
Hi, yes, you can use this model on all cars. Don´t hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
Please answer bro .....can i just change the compressor to electric.....and just do custom piping to hook up to stock system?
Hi, thanks for contacting us. Yes, you can, you need to do some adaptations, but will work fine. Don hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
i think i can see a winning use case for your electric compressor in vanlife conversions. to get air conditioning when the engine is not running, they sometimes use a window ac system, a mini-split ac system, or one of those expensive roof-mount ac systems. these all have their drawbacks because they tend to be somewhat noisy, usually have a pretty small condensing heat exchanger, add a lot of weight that can often be quite high in the vehicle, often use 120v power which causes electrical conversion losses, and of course can be expensive. this is even more silly when you realize that most vans and trucks already have an amazingly huge condenser heat exchanger mounted in the nose of their vehicle, and have an internal evaporator cooler that provides great quantities of really cool air. but when the engine is not running, the belt-driven compressor cannot run, so this great system can't help cool the vehicle's interior. it would be great to replace the belt-driven compressor with your electric compressor, so the coolant loop can be active whether or not the car is running. then it would remains to integrate the two fans -- the condenser and evaporator fans -- in such a way that the vehicle ac would continue to operate normally when the engine is running, yet be battery powered when the engine is not running. if that product existed, i think it could raise a lot of excitement in the vanlife community and would likely lead to decent sales. this would be especially true if the vehicle fan integrations (the pieces that appear to be missing today) didn't add a whole lot of cost to your existent electric ac compressor package. the only alternative that would be less expensive would be a cheap window unit, but when you add the cost of the inverter, even that is comparable. but i believe the performance of the vehicle-integrated system would be far superior, because it has an oversized conderser coil (compared to the alternatives), and puts out really cool air already!
Hi, thank you for your feedback and information! We will check about these possibilities. If you need something else, don't hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
@@qualyairusathis is exactly why I’m here. I would like to replace my Stock AC compressor with an additional alternator. Then mount a 12 V AC compressor that utilizes the stock AC system. Then incorporate additional 12 V batteries. I have a 2019 Ford transit 250 3.7 L.
High can you explain the wiring diagram
Hi, yes, don't hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705, they will send you a file explaining this. Thank you.
When your car is running its 14.6 volt only 12 at rest.Although 24 would be best you wood need two electric systems.

I have a 1994 ford ranger that is currently undergoing an engine swap, and I am not able to mount an a/c compressor due to clearance issues. So I would just need the compressor. I can fabricate the goses to adapt to the stock a/c components. Would this compressor be compatible with r134a refrigerant?
Hi, Thanks for contacting us. Yes, is compatible. Don´t hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.

Can I run this from solar panel by putting solar panel on the car roof...electric compressor
Hi, Unfortunately, It doesn't work because the energy that reaches the inverter is not continuous.
I have a Bajaj Qute mini car with no AC , if this possible to install in it that would be amazing. How much is it ?

WOULDN'T IT BE BETTER IF YOU CONECCTED IT DIRECTLY TO THE ALTERNATOR
Hi Carlos, Yes, you can connect directly to the alternator. It will perform very well.
Hello greetings from Greece! Could you tell me how I’m I supposed to install it in a car that never meant to have a\c before? I mean what else should I need? The car has no control panel nor ac buttons in it!! Any help would be appreciated!! Plus I’m from Greece, do you send them overseas if it need to?

I have a 1985 Mustang LX 5.0 WITHOUT factory air conditioning can i use this system on my vehicle ? Would the compressor be stored in my trunk ? Thanks
Hi Mike, yes, you can use this on your vehicle, you just will need to make some adaptations. As you don´t have the system on your car, you need the all system, not the compressor only. Feel free to contact our sellers on the phone: +1 (888) 907-0705.
Is there any other components that i need to buy to make it work? I mean I have all the inside accesories And outside i only need the condenser and thats it?

What is u v w? Positive negative?
Hi Danni, can you explain your question, please? I can´t understand your doubts. Thank you so much!
@@qualyairusa I have a a electric compressor, only have a ( u v w ) what is posistive and negative?
@@dannijohnson8684 i wonder if you might be referring to the three-phase connections? since it's a three-phase inverter-driven electric motor, it doesn't have a positive and a negative as a direct current system would. instead, it has three different connections that require alternating current, and each phase is +/- 120 degrees out of phase with its neighbors. if you have an electric compressor but do not have the inverter board, that might explain the confusion.
Is it universal can you throw it into a classic car
Hi, yes, it is a universal kit, that can be installed in all types of cars.

Which cars are used for electric AC compressors ?
They are universal a/c compressors. You can use with all kinds of vehicles. You can use to adapt a system, or create your own a/c system.
Can electric compressor work on older cars like 1999-2005 cars
You can use these universal electric compressors with cars of all ages. We recommend an alternator with 75+ amps.
Do you have something that I can just replace the my stock belt driven compressor? This may be THE solution to my 1996 civic turbo build. I want to keep ac without grinding anything to clear the turbocharger.
Our electric a/c compressor could be a good option for you, because it doesn't have a pulley and it's not connected to your engine belt.
This is literally what the entire video is about. ('98 Civic turbo owner here)
im planning for camper van based on mitsubuishi rosa mini bus . can i use electric compresor as auxillary compressor running with solar
Hello, As an auxiliary compressor, that could work. It will depend on your alternator, and your batteries capacity. We recommend an alternator with 75+ amps. Let me know if you need more information, please.
I have A/C with an electric compressor in my ‘64 Beetle. It works fine although the under dash control unit is a little primitive and makes it difficult to control the temperature of the air. I have/had other 3 electric cars: BMW i3, Tesla model S & Tesla model X. Driver inputs to electric car HVAC are merely “suggestions” to the systems in my opinion. I can set the climate control to 72F and it can still blow cold air and sometimes I’ll have to set it to 80F to get warm air then, after a while, I can lower the set temp back to 72F when it starts blowing warm air. Same is true when wanting cool air. The narrator here needs to slow down his speaking. It was hard for me to understand some of the technical things while trying to translate via his accent. By the time I got his point, he was two points past.
We have two models of under dash available. One includes the heater core, and the other is just for cooling. We suggest you check your heater core to ensure it works fine. You can find our heat and cool under dash on this link below: qualyair.us/products/universal-under-dash-3-speed-12v-air-conditioning-evaporator-heat-cool If you are not considering changing parts but just adjusting your controls, I recommend you check this with your mechanic. P. S: Thank you for your feedback. We will make sure we adjust ourselves to offer a better experience. We appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion.
What is the current draw on the undermount aircon?
@@bobtomica9614 You know, I have no idea. The car is currently in Texas and we are spending the holidays in California. When I go back to Texas in January, I’ll ask the shop which did the install what the draw is. They are also going to turn down the cooling by 5% or so as there is quite a bit of condensation dripping down onto my feet right now. They had that problem with a subsequent install and that adjustment solved the condensation issue.
@@donelmore2540 Would appreciate it if you make a video of how it was installed .... Did they changed the battery to a bigger size? Thanks.
Hi, can you please tell how many ahmp does it need to operate well?
Thank you for your message. We recommend a 75+ amps alternator.
Thanks for these infos you gave in this video, but I doubt the electrical ac cop. could handle my place's high temprature that reachs 52 C°. This is my major concerning about it. Thank you again.
The external temperature should not affect your A/C System performance. The compressor is expected to be capable of handling such high temperatures. However, we recommend you take this unit to an experienced professional who can guarantee the correct execution of the job. If you can put this together, we are confident you will have good A/C for such high temperatures.

Thank you for your comment Albert, we will definitely consider this in our next videos ;)
Can you make video demonstrating the noise level?
Hi Seth, unfortunately we don't have a video demonstrating the noise but the electric compressor is more silent than a convencional one
