LOL, At first I thought the AI was just bad (it is in other ways) but it is actually pretty close to real life now idiots merge. Not sure if we can call it a merge as they break most rules of a "merge"... lol That said, I know there are "better" options out there, but IMO for the casual gamer who wants a all in one kit to just work, I think Hori is the sweet spot. I feel that the plug and play support with the key bindings is worth the more of a premium price. Other setups that are less expensive seem to take a long time to get configured and still have to use the keyboard a lot unless you buy more addons. Then price wise your in to it the same amount of money but more complicated. I play maybe 4-5 hours a week and the rest of the time the kit sits in the closet. The Hori web site has a PDF you can download with the default key mappings in a image with numbers, and the number map to an explanation. So that right stick/stalk is used as engine brake AND shift for an auto if you want to force a gear (like in your car where you put it in 1 or 2, etc.). I actually killed a tree and printed it out and try to use as needed. I haven't tried, but there is a lockout for the shifter to use it as a auto. Locks it to up (D), middle (N) and back (R). hori.co.uk/hpc-044e/mapping. I have carpet and I used some stick on rubber carpet things from amazon that tapes to the bottom and helps grip the carpet. IMO the pedals not having some grip options is the worst part of the kit.

I would like to give you a tip from Vidoe Creator to Video Creator. At the beginning the music is a bit too loud when you speak, you have to dim it a bit. It's tiring for viewers when it stays dark, so I would have rewinded the time a bit to make it a little brighter. Your video is also a bit too big and the edges are cut off. Many viewers want to see that. A thumbnail wouldn't be bad either. I hope it's ok for you to get some feedback on the video. I'm always very happy to hear how videos are received by others. Very important, you have a great voice and a good storyline. I'm excited to see how you progress. Another tip. Many players probably didn't notice that I adjusted the cow feeding to 100% grass because of the grazing animals mod. Be sure to pay attention to this when planning. I appreciate that you actually talk about what you're doing while playing. Not having loud a** music blaring while you speed thru everything. I myself enjoy having videos like this playing in the background while I'm playing. Gives me ideas for things seeing how other people play and set things up. 02:55 To prevent a mess in your trailer, you can rotate the suitcases by holding down the RMB and then moving your mouse. Or press the middle mousebutton to reposition the bag/suitcase. You can throw the bag, NOT the suitcase ! It will pop open..... When the suitcase is neatly straight, they can all be put in one trailer, and are they better to put on the conveyor belts.

I just ordered one, and it should be here next week. I do all of my livestream videos on Facebook @ Telfer Trucking ATS. All videos are done in VR, and I'm hoping that the buttons on the box will be easier to locate than keys on the keyboard, when I can't actually see them. I also have a Thrustmaster T150 steering wheel with peddles, but no clutch or shifter.

I use, and like it, in ETS. Less use of the keyboard is a plus to me. Keep on trucking!
