rockin the casbah & singing with Berbers in tangier, morocco! 🇲🇦
we all need a bit of adventure every now and again and OMG did i find it!! Tanger, Morocco is a melting pot of culture, music, art, vibrant energy and sooooo much more. in today's adventure, we explore it all. everything from where the mediterranean sea meets the atlantic ocean, to eating some of the most delicious meals. to exploring streets that have been around for over 700 years, tiny little baby cats . . . and we can't forget the baby camel that JUST LOVED BEING PET BY ME (well that's what i like to tell myself anyway).
Come with me as we walk along the path of both famous and plebians and enjoy some of the coolest parts of my trip! also huge shoutout to my guide and driver who were both a legend navigating the crowds and rescuing my phone, and also one of the best drivers i've had! this was an adventure to remember :D

it's no secret i think about the roman empire every day. i mean afterall, i do live in the UK, which has basically everything to attribute to the Romans. Ronda is this hidden Spanish city that many spaniards haven't heard of (or been to). and yes , I have a lot of spanish friends. today we're heading to the VERY top of the UK to Rathlin Island. Now this place has the biggest (or one of the biggest) bird averies in all of Europe!! on top of that, this island is pretty dope as it's the reason that irish gaelic and scottish gaelic are so similar. from robert the bruce, to baby puffins, to seals, to abandoned buildings that are hiding ghosts, we cover EVERYTHING this island ...

WELL NOW YOU DO!!! and today i'm going to show you around town and give you some history about it. while i have the hardest time pronouncing it - Setenil has been notorious for being a fortress for really being hard to conqueror. whenever the reconquest of spain was happening, it took the northern part of the the iberian peninsula 8 time...

I believe the first plant looks like a Asian bleeding heart, I might be wrong tho
it's so pretty!!
We have loads of them here in nz i dont know the name of it but how cool to know it grows there too ❤😂
til it grows on the other side of the world!!
Ronda is one of the best!! it has everything an architecture nerd could desire 🎉
I had to google earth Ratlin Island. Quite an interesting place. With Puffins🤗
right?! who knew this little place existed! it's so cool how the entire island shuts down to support a wedding . 10 out of 10 stars here!
That looked like a nice island trip. A bit windy eh?

I love your positive energy.
thanks for watching and exploring the world with me:) it's such a cool place this Planet Earth 🌏
Mr Mondo's name was actually Saint Kentigern, also known as Mungo. The "auction" is actually a wholesale cash and carry, Glasgow is not a country, it's not "merchant cross" rather it's "Mercat Cross" (Scots for "market" so you were more correct the first time), that "old merchant building" was actually a bank. BTW, you walked right past Glasgow oldest house on the High Street, "The Provand's Lordship" which was built in 1471. And that "turtle" on the mural was clearly a crocodile. The animal at 34:88 is a badger. The man depicted in the mural at 12:45 is Billy Connolly.
It fell off the side of a trucks load
that's a crazy payload to fall!! 😅
That’s a bit rustic . But the rates are cheap
and fresh flowers every day!!
oban is amazing 🎉
Looked like a nice sunny day for a hike. I’m getting adds on your channel. Does that mean you are getting monetized? I liked the story and filming.
omg it was a beautiful day!!! we are working on getting monetised:) it's a process!

walking the footsteps of Romans from nearly 2000 years ago is an experience not to be missed! thanks for coming along with me today :)
A little quick history about Copenhagen. Copenhagen actually only have a few number of buildings left that are older than 1728. The reason is that Copenhagen suffered some pretty devastating fires in 1728, 1795 and 1807 (the last one thanks to the British who thought it was a brilliant idea to shower Copenhagen with rockets etc.). Copenhagen was up to the late 1850s a fortified city that was surrounded by bastions and a moat that surrounded the entire city. There are actually a few remnants of the moat from back then. The remnants may be found in Tivoli, H.C. Ørsted Park, Botanic Garden and Østre Anlæg Park. The moat remnants are the lakes in these locations. It may also come as a surprise to some people that the current Christiansborg Palace was actually first completed in 1928 after the previous palace burned down in 1884. The old stock exchange will eventually be rebuilt and probably in a manner where it will look exactly as before. Only an expert in old buildings will probably be able to tell the difference. The problem today to go about rebuilding these very old buildings is basically that the work skills needed to do it correctly are very rare today so finding the right people to do that job may turn out to be the biggest challenge.
this is such great history! thank you!! and totally explains why there are not many super old buildings. Next time I go ill plan a quest to see the oldest buildings left. and hopefully by then the stock exchange will start to be building again, which would be really cool to see!!
@@vagabond_chronicles The oldest structure left in Copenhagen today is probably the oldest part of Church of the Holy Spirit in Copenhagen. This was before the reformation a Catholic monastery and the oldest part of the structure today is from the beginning of the 14th hundreds. There has however been an older Catholic hospital building on the site prior to the monastery which was first mentioned around 1295.
this was one of the coolest cities i've visited! thanks for coming along with me on my layover in copenhagen this week :D i still cannot get over how amazing the art is here !!
3:09, "Sweden used to be a danish territory." Not quite right, the regions of Halland, Skåne (in which Malmö is situated) and Blekinge were given to Sweden as part of the peace in Roskilde in 1658. 😊
ciao bella ragazza in giro per l'Europa !
the 18 wheeler truck:
Sometimes i wanna be a bird laying on a road with no responsibilities 😂
it's a pretty great life, eh?!
How is this possible What birds laying on the ground 🤣🤣
I guess they got tired of flying?! hahaha
Why do I get the feeling that this isn't going to end very well 😢
oh everyone was giving them space. it was so cool and unique haha
Glad you loved our city, every year we have street fest where artist comes from all over the world do paint murals on buildings. Shame you didn't get to North street in Bedminster loads of free art down there.
I need to visit during that festival!! that would be so much fun to watch art in progress! and Bedminster is tagged for my next visit. thank you! :)

this was one of the coolest towns I've visited!
welcome to the new people following my adventures:) I hope you enjoy this exploration in the biggest city in Wales! 🏴
Henry the 8th was like, dude i'm making my own church, looool!! I live in chester and loved this video, i walk the walls most days apart from the bit you are on at 3:32 to where you see the ladybug on the door, i have a monumental fear of hights and that section of wall feels really low like waist height and it is so high up i get vertigo on that section, people have also fell to their death there (mostly drunk people), i'm not the only person who doesn't like that section
walking the walls is such a fun activity! you have an amazing city <3 the ladybug part of the walls is indeed a bit sketchy even without the influence of substances. i can only imagine how bonkers it must be with alcohol or vertigo 🙈
Can you read the books?
I didnt see anyone trying and with the exception of some behind glass, they all looked in pretty good shape, so maybe if you're a fancy guest you can. Next time I go back I'll find out :D
I love your excitement! You gainex a sub. Where you from?
thanks for following my adventures:) the accent is canadian 🇨🇦
@vagabond_chronicles you deserve more subs. Your doing something different to the countless other travel UA-camrs and I can totally get behind that!
thank you:)
Chester is awesome for the history! Medieval, Tudor, victorian, Roman, Georgian and modern. Spectacular city.
right?!? I love this little cute town!!
@vagabond_chronicles its a city, a small city but still a city 😄 🤣 but yeah i grew up just across the border
@vagabond_chronicles used to go watch roman shows on school trips. If your in the north of Wales at somepoint visit Ruthin and Denbigh. Ruthin castle is a good late medieval castle and Denbigh is a great ruined castle both towns are next to each other and are both cool little towns. Also Conwy castle is one of the best in the world if you get a chance. Huge still in working order and a great town.
Hey if you end up back in wales go to cardigan bay to see the dolphins ones of the more surreal things to be able to see in the uk
cardigan bay is now on my list! thank you! I'll absolutely go back. Wales is stunning 😍
@@vagabond_chronicles you can get cheap boat trips in the small seaside villages just south of Aberystwyth
Been to Cardiff castle but 20 times live about 20 miles away
this was my first time and it was so beautiful 😍
11:51 Death it’s the only one fact that can’t be altered by the mind of men! It’s the one thing that we all have in common…without having the presence of death every single moment we are going to have a meaningless life.
So meaningful ❤
