Great video with an even greater message. One of the quickest ways to deliver much-needed affordable housing to the Canadian market is just this. Build high-density, car-free walkable neighbourhoods attacked to rapid transit. Turn mono-culture spaces like malls and urban sprawl into the 15-minute city cores of tomorrow... Here in Edmonton that means building high rise apartment clusters next to MOST of the new Valley Line and I can't wait to see a couple of declining malls become Oakridge Centre'd as it were... New retail, new offices, new apartments all above a transit station...

Very interesting video, but again it is only aimed at urban areas, not all Canadians. We also need rural areas; housing is an issue in all of Canada. I urge an equal balance in all of Canada.

Everything said here is completely true, but is not being accepted by the majority of voters. We need to look at rapidly emerging technologies such as electric and autonomous vehicles, with automated remote traffic control, making best use of existing roadways, while much of the investment is undertaken by individuals, as it is for housing.
