When Danny told this story, it brought me back to when i was trying to get clean off of heroin. The period before i quit was the loneliest point in my life. It reminded me of why i connect with his music so much..he knows the shit side of life like me but can write so beautifully about it.

I had the pleasure of seeing him at the Cains ball room in Tulsa Oklahoma just short of a year ago. I actually got to shake his hand and I asked him if he wore the lyrics to this....to Wich he replied yes. The guy has talent like no other. And a sense of humor also, all around cool dude.
