Have the Dublin-Cork trains had their catering vehicles removed and stored? I believe that the catering was stopped when the Covid restrictions started in March 2020 and has not been restarted. No viable bids from catering companies were received by IR.
The catering coaches are on these sets. They look like standards from one side unlike MK3s. And Dublin to Cork services have catering again, same company as on Enterprise operating it. But food services have not been restored to any other route.

If they were electrified and not surrounded by so many derelict buildings IN THE STATIONS I might agree, Ireland does have the 2nd oldest train network in the world after all, unfortunately utterly fucked by copying the British public transport business model
