So on our boat we have a line that runs from the bow(front) to the batteries in the back. That line is a heavy 4 gauge wire that is on a switch in the back of the boat. For our boat it's the "accessories" line (or switch) I simply tapped into the line and used heat srink to make it waterproof. That one switch controls power to the fish finder, panoptix computer, downrigger plugs ect.

Preferred for a slip float, helps to mend the line when it floats

Yeah you just don't tie it to swivels, hooks and weights. Your slip float can ride on the braided line all you want. Only tie braided line to mono/ fluorocarbon

@@inandonthenet that has nothing to do with it. When braid is tied to tackle and that tackle gets snagged, you may end up having to cut your line this leaving braided line in the water for other people to get caught on. Tie a fluorocarbon bumper to your braided line with a blood knot or similar knot so that doesn't happen. Thanks for respecting the water.

@inandonthenet yeah I saw and liked it. But if there is no reel on it would I be able to tell weather it is for baitcasting or spinner, or which way the eyelets are supposed to he oriented?

If it's a bait caster there should be a finger holder(almost looks like a trigger) if it's just a smooth handle it's a spinning. Baitcasting eyes are also alot smaller, spinning starts out very large eyes and tapers down.

If you mean on the accessories switch yes, multiple accessories are on that switch. If your meaning on the power cable itself it has a fuse

@@Kusop777 a swivel stops line twist by allowing the line to rotate. If you use a spinning lure without a swivel for example, your line will twist up and start to become useless
