    I may have had unlimited screen time as a kid but at least I went outside and turned out well! I would frequently spend 10+ hours a day using my PS3 or my dad's PC (same as my brother to an extent) and I'm not as bad as the iPad kids. I will not raise iPad kids. *Maybe* give them an hour or 2 a day but it will be restricted.

    Ummm an Ipad is literally a huge giant phone without the calling capabilities. It is literally the same thing just bigger. We got ourselves a real genius here dont we.

      Yeah but you can’t smuggle your iPad as easy to school or a friends house, and you can disable internet access or apps easier. They even make tablets specifically for children that can only download or view content when a parents phone approves it. iPad also has this feature. Also the bigger screen is better to children to handle and less expensive

      Most of Gen z are in their 20s right now. Most of us didn’t get phones until high school either. Only the super rich ones. Or at least in my area middle schoolers got flip phones with only our parents numbers because of clubs and sports

    I've been saying Gen Z would be like this! I saw what having technology did to my younger siblings. They say outside is boring, and i never see them read books. It blows my mind.

  • @Bliss20244

    Nothing happens with those kids. There are plenty of kids who get unlimited screen time and can behave normal. Don't blame screens, just raise your kids properly. I let my kid to use ipad as often as she wants, she still prefer spending time with me. Also when I'm working, she is working on her ipad, she is coding her own games. But you do you, go live in a cave with your non existent kids.

    • @randomuser2212
      @randomuser2212 6 місяців тому

      There's no need to be rude. Each mom has a different way of raising their kids. What works for you might not work for someone else because everyone is different. And you have to admit, a lot of kids have had their childhood robbed because they are constantly glued to their iPad (I'm not saying that's your kid). I have a friend who teaches 4 year olds dance class, and she said none of the kids know their own names, and they always misbehave. Ipads have ruined a generation

    • @DrJazzyBonespHd
      @DrJazzyBonespHd 6 місяців тому

      Okay but it seems like you supervise what your kid is doing. Most parents who shove iPads at their kids give them unrestricted access to the internet and watching the most mind rotting content on UA-cam. There’s even studies about how TikTok is actually effecting the attention span of anyone who uses it unrestricted, including people over 30. Kids are also learning how to interact socially through social media and not learning proper communication and compromise and morals. Kids are learning to be hateful and swear and they they can be disrespectful and mommy and daddy will pull a legal card. Just because you are not part of the problem doesn’t mean there isn’t one

    Im a '92 millennial, just had a baby 10 months ago and let me tell you, she will not be an iPad kid and she's never getting a phone. My kids might all get one to share, but they'll never have their own unless they're old enough to work and pay for it themselves. I also really wanna teach my kids to be independent and self sufficient

    • @DrJazzyBonespHd
      @DrJazzyBonespHd 6 місяців тому

      iPads have the same accessibility as phones. If it has a camera, it can make video calls. They both access the internet. Hey flip phones so they can contact you about needing pick up from clubs or sports or emergencies at sleepovers. Or if you get an iPad, don’t let it leave the house as it’s so easy to get internet access in public.

    • @sarajoe6435
      @sarajoe6435 6 місяців тому

      @@DrJazzyBonespHd You are completely true! I think that I would definitely invest in a flip phone for my child when he or she got old enough to go places on their own. It's also cheaper to have an iPad, and it's also not as mobile. With a phone you can take it wherever and talk to whoever whenever you want. With an iPad you're able to limit that. I feel like kids spend way too much time on iPads and phones already. So if all they can do on their iPad is play games and take pictures/ videos because of the restrictions I have put on there I am okay with that. I don't have to pay for it monthly. Then they get old enough they can get a flip phone to contact me or their friends or something really similar to a flip phone. 🙂🙃

    It was quite funny how it happened. They came out with these phones with 4 buttons, it didnt text and could only call 4 numbers. Then they marketed it like "Dont you think a good parent would provide their child with a way to contact them?' They fell for it, and the rest is history. Parents gave bad actors and governments a mainline past the defenses of parental guidance and they did it because of a 30 second ad. Im starting to see how the Holocaust was possible.
