I was thankful that before my husband died of terminal lung cancer he always listened to this song and even in so much pain I believe he was still able to prepare himself with acceptance thru his silence during his ten days in the hospital before he died. The lyrics are so consoling.

It's been years since I've listened to this. This was the first full prog/concept album that I just could not stop listening too. Fast forward twenty years and it's amazing to me how much the genre has progressed. This used to seem so complex to me and now hearing it again it seems so straight forward. That being said, this album will always have a special place in my heart.

15 years ago I was struck with clinical depression. Nobody could help me at the time and I couldn't afford therapy. This album saved my life, by listening to it everyday, I literally didn't took my own life thanks to it. I didn't knew why at the time, but now in 2025 revisiting it, it makes so much sense and made me cry of happiness 🥲

I remember when I bought it as soon as it came out. Blew me away. Still does to this day.
