I have a vibe yellowfin 100. I definitely wouldn't consider it to be a "Budget" option at $800 when you can get other 10-11ft fishing kayaks from walmart for less than half the price. Great kayak sure but not budget friendly.

Only issue with fishing eith bread is mallards if you throw some bread in the water to get visuals on the carp then if anybody has canadian geese/mallards around they know this pain.

Im pretty new at fishing but a shakey head hook w a dark worm seems to be really solid in my experience. At least for bass. And a simple ball of bread for the trout lol

My problem is that there's a bunch of other species in the same pond I would carp fish so I'm worried all the panfish would nibble at the bread and the carp wouldn't get any.

I always wonder what people find entertaining about fishing for those large and small mouthed black bass. All they are is good bait fish. I catch about 15 every Friday morning as my bait for the weekends fishing trips. Since I fish for multi species sometimes I keep them alive
