Is the Santa Cruz Heckler SL the best eMTB on the market?
I've been lucky enough to ride and own lots of eBikes over the last few years.
Whilst I love the way a 'Full Fat' feels uphill I have never been sold on it downhill due to its weight and the way it goes where it wants to go rather that where you want it to go.
This is where 'Lightweight' eBikes come in and boy oh boy do they deliver!

Yeti SB140 // Cannock Chase
Переглядів 3137 місяців тому
I had been meaning to get this one edited for months but just hadn't had the chance. Filmed back in Feb 2023 on a recently built Yeti SB140. It was the first real time I had the chance to stretch it legs and boy was I impressed. As a do it all bike I don't think you will find anything that does it quite as well as the SB140. Slowly getting to grips with the filming and the editing as as always,...
NEW BIKE TIME! YETI SB140 BIKE CHECK!

Thought it was about time Introduced my latest bike to the channel. The 2024 Yeti SB140. I have been wanting something that pedals a little easier but still descends as well as anything and I feel with this I have hit the nail on the head. Loads more to come with this one once the weather improves and hopefully I can push harder and give it some more stick.

    I smoke hecklers on my Levo comp which is kinda surprising since SC bikes are the best handling out there IMO. maybe its the rider but Levos seem to be twice the bike for half the money

    • @peterbooker1995
      @peterbooker1995 24 дні тому

      I would say this is completely down to the rider imo. No doubt when you compare the Levo Comp to the Heckler it's not a fair comparison with the Levo Comp being Alloy and the Heckler being carbon from the off. Definitely more expensive compared to other brands but completely worthwhile when you consider the lifetime frame bearing warranty and SC support.

    • @JamesGoddard-i7s
      @JamesGoddard-i7s 24 дні тому

      @@peterbooker1995 I think a carbon levo is still 3k less! warranty and support is just as good but yes I agree there is a difference. I just couldn't bear to buy a carbon bike the way I throw them around. The heckler is faster downhill for sure or it would be if I did a direct comparison

    Nice review….I’ve been disappointed since getting my E+2 last December….it’s just spent the last 2 months with my dealer and giant trying to rectify faults…their approach has been to replace 1 item of the electrical component at time, only to realise, that it could be something else and each time I encounter another 2 week delay whilst they wait for parts from Holland….they are at the point where they are now replacing the motor! I may sell it when I get it back and invest in a Spesh as my mates get their issues turned around in a couple of hours! That aside I’ve been pleased with the bike…it’s just the after service that sucks …..

    goggles: Leatt velocity has great comfort, can't feel the foam, no scrathy feeling, so it's great, but build quality is not optimal, especially for the nose guard, it's too flimsy and pops off too easily. lenses scratch too easily, but claimed to be bulletproof, atleast with a pistol. 100% RaceCraft/Race Craft Plus, not as comfy foam, but lenses don't scratch as easily. but not bullet proof, nose guard quality varied, I lost one, but got a replacement, I did not loose that one, so was one bad nose guard out of the several goggles.+ Plus goggle is just the version with pre-shaped hard lenses, otherwise same goggle. I hope this helps. But I've not tried all goggles on the market.
