Hey guys, sorry I haven't been uploading lately. This semester has been very rough, and I didn't get a chance to make videos. In this video, I wanted to show the new wheels that I got. I did install subs and a double din in the G. I also recorded the whole process, however, the video is laggy when playing it back, so I'm trying my best to get that fixed and upload it. Getting rid of the drone in my G35 Coupe

Hey guys, in this video, I'm going to be getting rid of the drone in my G35 coupe. I just bought a HKS Rep exhaust, and cut the canisters off and attached them to my exhaust. It worked perfectly and killed all the drone, as well as lowered the rasp. Thanks for watching IG@ Omareo28

I was switching out my rear bumper cause the one on my G got damaged. It's not that hard to take off, but I figured I'd record the steps in case anyone in the future needs to take theirs off and doesn't know how to. Just a quick warning the bottom two bolts on the bumper are very rusty on my car and are know to snap so be careful
the spoiler is a wald/ wald style, not factory at all.

Does it have the sticky dash problem on the 2011 models? I’m looking to get one but worried about the sticky dash and door panels when it’s not
all the 2is have that issue, id only be worried about it you live somewhere with extreme heat. I got mine replaced for free like 6 years ago and had no damage but had to wait a year for the parts.
Sorry for the late reply. I don’t think the 2011 have the sticky dash issue. But mine doesn’t and I leave it out in the hot weather

I have an 2011. It doesn't base on my experience. It been sitting in the hot sun so long. No issues.

It’s a 3is bumper, all came together. Was installed on the car when I got it. I’m sure if you search “3Is bumper”. You’ll find it
I remember watching this video 4 years ago before I bought my G. Since then I've manual swapped it, put in a black interior, and done a lot of other suspension and performance mods. Nice trip down memory lane watching this.
Those are strut bars, by the way. Sway bars go under the car. That engine bay is nightmare lol. I'd ditch the injen intake and go with the F-sport, it's superior in every way. The orange lights on the speedo and tach are adjustable- I set the speedo one to 80mph (freeway ticket zone) and set the tach a few hundred before redline to use as a shift light. I'd be scared getting all that electrical work done at Best Buy in one day...you lucked out everything worked properly as that could've been a nightmare to diagnose if something was afoul. I'd add poor visibility with the shit mileage and cramped interior. When I first got mine I literally felt claustrophobic for the first week (5'10"/200). I removed the rear seat headrests to increase rearview mirror visibility.
@@michaelangelo5783 sorry for the late reply. Didn’t get a notification. Yeh the space isn’t the best. I’m 5’8 so it wasn’t too bad. Back seats don’t fold down either so that doesn’t help. I made sure to get an experienced tech to do all the work. With electrical, one small issue can do a lot of damage. I didn’t have any issues with visibility but MPG isn’t the best. I only get 20 mpg, no matter how conservative I drive

Why do you prefer a manual if you don’t mind me asking?
More control over the car and more fun to drive. Nothing fun about just pushing a pedal. A manual car, even if it doesn’t have a lot of HP will always be more enjoyable to drive than a auto
people compliment the car a lot ? do you get a lot of attention driving? I want one just like this the convertible one with the bumper looks amazing
With the hood and wheels, it does attract attention. Imo the hood is what sets it apart from other cars. It’s also loud so gets attention that way. But yeh I do get compliments on the daily.

Stock they look like granny cars. I get compliments on the daily with how it is. Imo it’s not too much. Just a carbon hood and upgraded bumper. Subtle but enough
I think it's the red calipers. Red calipers are too played out, to Ferrari 90's and shitbox Civics. I painted my calipers red on my first car in 2000, a 97 eclipse gsx. Burnt orange/copper is the best color for calipers on a dark car (think R35 gtr, but darker). So, the red calipers draw the eye to the wheels, which are unfortunately cheap cast wheels. Next up is the the exhaust, it sticks out a bit too far. Personally, I dislike the look of window rain guards and rear window spoiler. I like the updated front end and the carbon hood looks fine since the car is dark, but would look better paint matched. The carbon wrapped interior trim is cool, but whoever wrapped it didn't match the pattern on the ashtray section.
Agreed. But this ain’t my car so it don’t matter what I think. Personally I think this car looks like something out of NFS underground. I’m not a fan of the new front end on the 2is. If I got a 2is I would lower it and put wheels, call it a day.

I was looking for a car and I don’t know much about them I stumbled across a 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe so I decided to look on yt to learn more since it looked cool lol it says “2006 infiniti G35 coupe with full body kit it also has smoked chrome headlights and hid kit, black led tail lights, windows tinted, carbon fiber grill, 20 inch staggered niche wheels with good tires 275s in front and 295s on back, D2 coilovers, custom intake, exhaust, plenum spacer. Interior is clean, it has full led lighting kit and aux cable kit in stereo” with 120,000miles for $9,800 do you think it’s a good deal?
I personally wouldn’t drop 9.8k on a G35. For they much you can get a G37 coupe which is arguably a better car. Looks are subjective but interior is better, it has more power and front is way more aggressive. It’s basically a 370z in a tuxedo, if that makes sense. The markets messed up rn so every car is marked up high. I sold this one for $6500 last year, should’ve waited a bit lol. Sorry for the late response, didn’t check the channel for a bit. Also coilovers and plenum spacer are mainly the real mods on that. Plenum spacer is useless without a tune. If you really want a G35, try finding one that’s stock. Lots of teens buy them and beat tf out of em, racing and all that. 20s with that tire size is gonna wear down your brakes hella

Congrats on the car! Headlights are stock. I just opened them up, painted the housing black and added Morimoto halos.

looking back at this video you are talking about how expensive gas was kills me cause my g35 coupe fills up for 65. lord how i wish it was still 45 to fill haha but this car is the best car i could have bought i have seen these videos including yours since I was a sophomore and i bought my 04 coupe manual aero package for only 7k before the prices skyrocketed this year. super reliable, timeless look and the smooth power 10/10 recommend.
Yeh man, sometimes it was close to $70 and since I was driving so a lot, it was getting too much. I also have a heavy foot so that doesn’t help at all lol. I unfortunately sold the car this summer, but I do regret it. Looked amazing, sounded amazing, and it was comfortable. No matter how much I beat on it, it never let me down. Really grateful I was able to own this car for many years. On to bigger things

There's other designs you can find on eBay. I found this one to look the most aggressive. The site that I ordered from only had this style I believe. They come in Carbon too, but I liked the paint matched style the most

Thank you 🙏. I'd always recommend getting a manual. Not only is it more fun, but driving a manual will keep you from going on your phone and stuff; be more focused on driving. Teens crash them cause either they drive crazy fast/do dumb stuff, or just don't know how to drive a rwd car. Imo the G35 is a perfectly balanced car, in which it's not overpowered, but at the same time it's enough to have fun. Just be careful, don't drive like the other idiots, and you'll be fine. Teens buy cars like Gs and Z's, and start acting like they have the fasting car in the world and want to race everyone lol
I hear that the third gear in G cars can oftentimes break/go out, just keep that in mind if you get a manual
