After my last cover of time machine, I wanted to try making a cover a more difficult song. And that song ended up being Holiday by Emi Choi! She has such a beautiful voice that I knew would sound very good on piano. The cover isn't perfect, as I still have very little experience, but I do think it turned out decent. how do u make ur synthesia sound so good??? mine sound likes a really low quality piano yours sounds so clean and crisp tho
thank you! im not sure if it works the same on mobile and desktop, but on desktop you can actually change the soundfont of the piano by adding your own soundfonts, you can download them on the internet, i recommend musical artifacts as a good place to find them! however, for me, i actually found the soundfonts to not be good enough for my taste. so i actually record the song separately from the synthesia video, and remove the audiotrack from the synthesia video, and then overlay the separately recorded track on top of the video. i plan on eventually properly making the tracks in a DAW to increase sound quality even more, but for now i usually record the track by just playing the musescore file in the musescore 4 app. hope this helps!

Find your C4 and use the C4 on the video as a reference

@@usernamesaresodiffC4 is middle C so you can find the middle C on what you use and use that to visually figure out what notes are being used
Really great arrangement of such a.....wacky song, it must have been difficult to make. I also appreciate the changing colors of the notes and background to match the original song

alright, i reeeeallly really want to learn this even if i'm clearly not at the level to do that but i'l still try! i'm taking it slow. all timestamps are both hands at once. <3 day 1: up to 0:26 so far! day 2: i can play up to 0:40. UPDATE: i actually decided to make my own arrangement since even this beautiful one doesn't quite satisfy me lol... but i'll still use this as a solid base for my changes, so i'll keep learning. if i forget to update i'm either working on my own twists or school is killing my time without me even realizing it. see you in the next update! day 3: ?

I hope you'll do Umitora's Color & Electricity at some point. I tried to do it myslef but it was too hard for me, I did only the first page(skill issue). Anyways I'm excited about Reiva's and Umitora's Aishite so pls keep doing what you do we rely on you ❤️
i actually already did reiva's version of aishite! youll find it early in my uploads ofc im working on umitora's version, but honestly might take a break to do color and electricity like u requested. it seems a lot easier to do, so look forward!

I was really tripped up at some point because a lot of this cover is in major, especially the beginning, when the original song is not. It definitely sounded more ethereal this way than unnerving.
yeah, note for note the original song doesn't really translate well to piano. I was unhappy with how other covers represented the song on piano but I wanted to try and learn it. this version by reiva is very different, but much more suited to the piano, imo, even if it's very different, but that's the point of a cover :)
