Hi my friend, I make a lot of meals in jars, that possibly could be a MRE. Including a fabulous onion bread mix that only needs a fat and water, cooking source. New friend.😊

The main entre itself, looks like genuine Sapako/Ameriqual government issue MRE entre. Everything else looks like a Hodge podge of odds and ends slapped together. As for those patriotic cookies, I've seen those with other manufactures of MRE's meant for the civilian market like MRE Star. Interestingly enough there was a government issue MRE or 2 that I have eaten that had the patriotic sugar cookies, but they were vacuum sealed in a tan foil and mylar envelope with quite a few preservatives and a desiccant packet.

RC is tops for me. Moon pie is a little better than just OK. I used to see older guys pour peanuts into the RC, never knew why or tried that one.

I don't drink cola's much anymore, but RC was always my favorite. Moon Pies are one of those things that sound better than they are. Probably a nostalgic memory or something...

I've not seen one like that. A different animal for sure. You should'a dropped those stale cookies (biscuits) into the coffee. They would have probably been just fine with a good soaking in some coffee.

Would have been here sooner but had to take Hannah to work and was asleep when you released this one. They gave you a pack to make dirty water, who wants coffee without caffeine when you are needing a refuel. The spaghetti did not look half bad. Cool cup Ade. Definitely a mash up MRE, but I can tell you knew that ;). Thanks for teaching others these are not a standard issue MRE when they see them.

That's not issued. Looks repacked by someone. Although I ate that spaghetti in Iraq. Lol
