The Honeycomb Macramé Wall Hanging being a more intricate pattern, was made as a beginner to intermediate tutorial, not quite for a complete beginner. However, don't be discouraged if you are a beginner I'm happy to help if needed. This piece is cute and small but makes an impact in any space. You will be using 7 knots in this tutorial. Knots used: Lark's Head Knot Double Half Hitch Knot Square...

A timelapse of the creative process followed while making a custom piece. My client provided the grapevine and requested a custom design be made on it. This was filmed over a period of a few days. You'll see different outfits, different lighting and a few spots where I changed my mind about a knot or two. Knots used: Lark's Head knot Berry Knot Double Half Hitch Knot Square Knot Spiral Knot Gat...

Thank you for this tutorial ❤
I love the ornaments …. I will definitely make some this xmas 🎄🥰
Thank you 😊 I hope you do, I plan on posting another Christmas tutorial this year.
pretty!! can you make a turorial?
Thank you! I can absolutely make a tutorial for this one 😊
thank you for this especially the detailed tutorial to tie the knot to hang the piece. love it! it looks sturdy.
You're welcome, I'm glad you liked it. That knot (constrictor) is quite sturdy, I use it for my big heavy pieces as well, and it's held so far 😊

Where will I find the tutorial please?
Hi there, it's on my channel, but here's the link too ua-cam.com/video/jRE3yC1MPRY/v-deo.htmlsi=IuqV3EcWyj5-J5Ia
@@stringtheorymacrame your tutorial is unavailable 😢
Very cute.
I love these 🥹🥰
Thanx Willow! It's a little late for a Christmas tutorial, but it's up and who knows maybe someone decides let's make something crafty on Christmas eve ☺️🎄
Also where is this cord from? Love the colour and look of it :)
I'm from South Africa and source it locally here, not sure where you're from, but if you look for single strand cotton string in your area, you should find something similar. Hope that helps 😊
@@stringtheorymacrame many thanks for your rent. I’m from Australia.
*your reply, not rent.
This looks so beautiful. Definitely going to try this, thanks so much ❤
Thank you, let me know how it goes ☺️
Love your channel name!
Thank you 😊
Very passionate and beautiful work .. big smile

Promo'SM 😣
?
Love it SPM!
Thanx Natasja 😊
Beautiful! Will be my second piece after a hat holder..once i learn the knots. Ty
Can middle square knot and diamond centers have a bead?
Sure you could add a bead instead of the square knot 😊
Great little piece!! What are the dimensions of it please?
Thank you 😊 the final piece is about 25cm wide and 60cm long.
Hola lo hice , pero me quedo corto , la longitud de los 14 cordones deben ser superior a los 2m
Hi there, it will depend on the thickness of the string you use. I used 3mm and cut to 2m, but if you use thicker string, like 4-5mm, you will have to cut longer pieces. I hope that helps.
Ensina pra nós esse painel? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi there, I'll keep this one in mind for the next tutorial. I've been meaning to upload a large wall hanging tutorial 😊🌼
Você é maravilhosa. Uns dos melhores tutoriais que já vi. Muito bem elaborado, explicado e nítido. Espero que grave muito mais. Que tal fazer um video de um painel grande com cordão de 4mm? Bjsss
Thank you so much for the beautiful compliment. I definitely want to upload a large wall hanging tutorial soon. I'll be on holiday soon and will have more time to make a new tutorial ☺️
An excellent tutorial for beginners! The maker uses slow, clear motions to guide you through the steps and includes great notes at the bottom for cut or knot instructions. Not a moment of frustration with this one. Thank you!
Thank you for such a nice comment 😊🌼
That is so cute!
Thank you ☺️
I love your work! Will you be doing anymore videos? Hope so love learning!
Aw thank you so much ☺️❤️ I'll definitely be doing some more videos soon, anything specific you'd like to learn?
What is the length of dowel rod?
Hi there, it's about 30cm long.
I liked this. Great instruction but it would have been useful to know just how much cord was needed in total before starting.
Thank you for the feedback. The lengths of the strings are in the description, so the total can be calculated, but I'll add the total cord in future.
Nice work
Thank you 😊
very good tutorial.it is very helpful for me.please visit me and support me to
very beautiful
Thank you 😊
I loved this tutorial! I did this in two colours and it turned out beutifully.
Aw thank you for the comment, I'm so glad you enjoyed it 😊 I would love to see a pic of your two toned piece, if you have Instagram I'm @stringtheory_za 🌿
Can I ask you please how much cord for the first layer, and then how much for the second layer please? I´d like to make this in two colours. :-)
Hi there, I'd say about 20m for the first layer and about 25m for the second layer. It also depends on the thickness of the cord, so I'd always get more just in case. I'd love to see it when you're done, tag me on insta @stringtheory_za :)
@@stringtheorymacrame Will do! Thanks for your reply!
Great video! 😍I also have a channel about crafting and am therefore always looking for new ideas and inspiration.😃😘
Thank you so much! I'll go subscribe right now ☺️🌼
I made this today! I love it, thanks for the tutorial, it was my first piece, and I was able to follow the whole video🌸 Have a blessed day!
Well done on your first piece! I'm so glad you could follow it without any problem. Thank you for the comment, it made my day 😊🌻
That amazing handmade
What is the width of the dowel
Hi, you can use a 20-25cm dowel 😊
@@stringtheorymacrame thnks
How could I make this into a valance?
Oops, at 0:42 I've made a mistake, you need to cut 150-200cm strings.
Thank you for this.❤️
Nice
How big is the final product in cm
Hi Leane, so sorry for the late reply. It depends on the dowel you use, but mine came out at about 35cm wide and 90cm long. Hope that helps.
Hi, thank you for this video! How many yards of cotton string did you use? :)
Hi there, I used about 40 meters which is approximately 44 yards 😊
What is the finished hanging measurements? Thank you
Hi, it's about 20cm wide and 80cm long
Hola, buenas tardes, nunca había visto tu trabajo y me gustó soy super principiante en macrame y me gustó mucho tu trabajo. Soy de la ciudad de México 🇲🇽. Soy Margarita Alejandra
Hi Margarita, I hope you don't mind me using Google translate to get an idea of what you're saying, as I don't speak Español. Thank you so much for the comment, I'm glad you like my work. I hope my tutorials will help you learn more about macrame and improve your skills. I'm Skyé, from Cape Town 🇿🇦😁
Very pretty. I'm very new to this but one day I'd like to be able to make something this pretty.👌💙
Thank you so much!! I'm sure you'll get there sooner than you think, just keep practicing 😊🌸
Is there a way to make this larger?
Hi there, so sorry I didn't reply sooner You could absolutely make it bigger, just be sure to add on strings in groups of 2 so that you can tie the square knots and there aren't strings left over, if that makes sense. If not let me know and I'll try send a pic of what I mean.
Love it!!❤
Thank you 😄
