Actually, the title is 100% accurate and correct. 😱A _brake_ LEVER is exactly that, the LEVER which is used to operate the brake mechanism. 🤯Why, you ask, is it NOT referred to as a blade? 🤔Because blades are used for cutting, they’re found in razors and knives, etc but definitely nowhere to be found in any brake mechanism. 😳 Just for your benefit, the entire assembly is known as the brake lever mechanism or assembly, not just a brake lever because a lever is a specific thing, and levering is what it does and all it does. 😒There is nothing whatsoever that’s in any way blade-like. Not sure what kind of blades you’ve come across but everyone I’ve ever seen had a very narrow and very sharp edge running down the length of it. 🤨Again, this brake LEVER has none of that. Hence, it’s in no way a blade and shouldn’t be referred to as such.🤓

It is not easy for the first time. Try to put hex nut around the rod on topside parallel to surface so you can see the rod thru nut hole. Add short rod from bottom side and try to squeeze this "sandwich" with pliers. Don't forget to trotect surfaces against scratches with self adhesive tape or cloth. Hope you will manage it.

Same issue with mine. That axle seemed seized in there. I had to order a new lever assembly for $44.

Yes, sometimes it needs a quite strong push to release the axle for the first time. Try to use a short plastic plastic ring and put it around the axle on bottom side. On the top side add a short plastic axle above the brake lever axle and squeez al this sandwich with a pliers for a few millimeters. I advise using plastic materials to avoid unwanted scratches on the brake levers.

Does the system restart during interaction in Blynk app (if slider setting - send on release is off )?

@@Mirekchyska Hi, I guess there is too much data transferred to Blynk server when trying to connect to it. I don't know if a new versions of Blynk refreshes all its pins by default since I didn't upgrade my version for a while. Please try to comment (remove) function in code where this command is called: Blynk.syncAll(); This will reduce data transferred right after connecting to Blynk server. As i said, I have full working project with a non modified code for a years.

HI, there is a modified display library used in this project and it is attached with the code. It differ to the original library in a new font added. This library is used to fill the OLED with the text nicely. I am able to use this library with the SSD1306 (0.96") and SH1106 (1.3") OLED but some comment/uncomments around line 55 in the code needs to be done. But I see this causes only a problems to other users so I will need to reprogram the code in the future so the original OLED library can be used. Meanwhile, you can switch to original library if you remove "display.setFont*" from my code. Is there a possibility that you use a different I2C address as it is in the code?

@@uwestraube3765 ...the sketch also needs to put a custom WiFi credentials into before compiling... therefore I will need to recode a complete sketch to default graphic libraries which means that OLED drawings will be less customized. I will, but at the moment am out of time.

Hi, thanks for trying with my project. I apologize to forgot to add additional comments about this library, so thank you for notifying me. During building this project I've added some extra lines to the existing library on my own, so now it's possible to draw also triangles (line & fill). Those triangles (arrows) indicate if temperature is rising or falling. You might also need to trim size and position of the characters according to my custom fonts used and OLED size (I am using 1,3" SH1103 OLED). Please download the updated code from my website again and please find comments in the OLED section with instructions how to upgrade original library. I hope you succeed. Rgds.

Hi, I've made things easier by adding a modified library in the same zip file as the code is, so please download zip file again and use attached library. There is also a modified *Fonts.h file included which caused you a font problem earlier. Find the comments in the code within OLED section and in the library files, if someone wants to track changes.
