You are way wrong about the intake. The factory intakes are better than ALL of the after market short ram intakes. The silence cuplers that go on the the factory intake actually cause you to loose. And cold air intakes are the way to go for the most gains. You could of just adjust the can and intake piping and it would of fit.

Awesome build. The lost torque would be from porting the lower manifold. Gains come from porting upper and port matching the opening of the lower runners. If you also port the bottom of the lower runners you will actually loose velocity which reduces your volumetric efficiency which drops torque. I learnt the hard way. It will slightly increase peak torque but you will loose meat under the curve torque wise and it reduces performace (unless your drving at the rev limit constantly) ie porting the whole of the lower runers might make sense for drag racing but for street it will make your car slower. Hope that helps brother.
