Rømø island in Denmark is a spectacular spot for kitesurfing. A long and wide beach that is accessible by car, a lot of space on the water, great conditions for wave kiting, freestyle and even kite- or wingfoiling. All this combined with the relaxed Danish way of living or kiting. In case you haven’t been to Rømø and are looking for some variety from St. Peter Ording but Sylt is to complicated - this is the spotcheck to get you started (including tipps for staying over night).
Rømø is also a very popular spot for testivals during the season.
