The regulations for Charter boats: Two halibut per angler daily bag limit. - One halibut can be any size, one must be less than 28 inches in length. - No annual limit. Hey Louisiana Life Style. I threw all my Specks back. I wasn't fishing for food, just for fun. I think the new laws came into effect on Nov 1, 2023. We were there in Sept. 2023. Thank you for bringing that up though. Yalls Redfish rules changed too. I fished Shell Beach the year for and then recently in Galliano. They cut back both the size and limits. It's a full time thing keeping up with regs when you fish a lot in differnt states and species. Thank goodness I usually have friends i can call. Thank you for watching and commenting.
