New Tower Storage Options From Kemimoto
I havent shot mine a whole lot. Only about 40 times. But i havent had a jam yet, that said ive been using the factory hornady 300gr handgun hunter ammo and the winchester 250gr power point. I have a rossi 92 in 44 mag that has a spring kit and its butter smooth but it will not feed a gummy tip or round nose bullets.
@christianwiseman3712 from what I've been hearing, they're really hit and mit with their quality. Obviously I've got a bad one. Maybe your 454 is one of the ok ones. I have a 44 mag in both Winchester and Henry. Both feed everything I've tried flawlessly. So I'm leaning towards rossi quality on your 44.
@SmoknJaysGarage could be. I'm just way to hard on rifles to take a winchester or marlin out hunting lol. I think most of the issue with the ftx bullets is the OAL, maybe if I trimmed them like I'm supposed to they'd feed better? Idk i just use the XTPs because it eats them like candy, and 44 specials for plinking I use some 200gr cast flat points. They have killed alot of porcupines and jack rabbits lol
Why is the kid in this video?
do your research before you get one.
why buy something that always has issues?
This isn't fair to Rossi and you're a dumbass
Living in California I was wondering when someone would do this. I like that it's more simple than the Fightlite Herringbone will be. Not everything has to imitate an AR. Replacement magazines from Magpul - $15.
Where did you install the vacuum control module? I have an extended cab truck and was looking for some ideas on where to install that. Thanks in advance!
@cameron2510 it's under the drivers seat.
Correction, sir, the barrel IS free floated.
@@robertwalters4676 thanks
Finally, a video without a can, at least in some parts. Mine is on order.
@@robertwalters4676 i think you're going to love it!
I’ve been trying to find one. Where did you get yours?
@@PeterWilliams-z6p i ordered mine from my local gun shop. If that isn't an option for you, you might check GB.
Love my Henry supreme
This has to be one of my favorite Smok'n Jay's video's. Great review and I think I want to get one of these.
Damn you got a lot of guns. You should do a little tour of your gun room.
@@garysgarage3669 that's a good idea. I'll have to do that.
@@SmoknJaysGarage Hope your place is secure.
@CaptainLeonsBoatingandMore i live in a pretty good neighborhood. But I also have a good security system with cameras.
Well done. Single group promoters are useless reviewers. A multiple group target is more representative of cartridge and load.

Nice balanced review of the Henry supreme. The .223 Rem/5.56 NATO & 300 blackout as the starting calibers was a funding/demand reason. They likely wouldn't have had the needed return on investment if they did something like 6.5 Grendel or 6mm ARC as the first two calibers. That's why they said more calibers are coming. Doing a 6.5 Creedmore or .308 Win/7.62 NATO may require substantial engineering re-work for both the chamber pressures involved and the travel distance of the bolt carrier in conjunction of the lever.

you are a very good student.....and you got the best instructor too
Take detailed photos/scan the vectors with your phone sell or print the files infinite money glitch
Maybe I misunderstood, BUT, did you say that, when you bought the boat, your dealer included winterizing and summerizing, each year, included in the purchase price? I understand that Yamaha offers "bonus" extended warranty, but who includes winter service, free of charge?
@13postie it was an add on that i purchased at the time of sale. A 3yr maintenance/winterizing package. I pay for 3 yrs in advance, and the price is basically parts and free labor. I don't know if all dealers offer this option.
What the name of the start of the video music?
Mine is in 44 mag. It cycles brass just fine. I wonder if the problem is the thinner rim on .45 brass. Back in the old west no one chambered a lever gun in Colt .45.
@stevemason6850 it's an interesting thought...but it's not ejecting that's the issue. Wouldn't a thinner rim cause more trouble extracting/ejecting the round that chambering it?
@SmoknJaysGarage good point. I wonder if a slight chamfer ,and polish of the chamber mouth would help get the round started. I have a Krag that didn't like to feed pointed bullets so I chamfered the opening to the chamber, and it fixed the feed problem.
@stevemason6850 that might be something worth looking into. Thanks
@SmoknJaysGarage do you hand load? If so load round nose cast bullets, and use a roll crimp. On jacketed bullets there's no real crimp so the case lip may be hitting the chamber edge.
Make my day......punk!
I bet the kid can count to nine.
Just an observation: the smaller 45-70 black powder will foul the chamber and 45-90 won t chamber. Make sure to clean the chamber well.
@@Old_8_gauge I'm using smokeless powder. But you're right, even that will foul over time and cause issues with the longer 45-90 rounds.
Those bullets look way to long
@emotionlessmarshmallow4581 well that's how long a 454 Casull Cartridge is. These are all factory loads, not reloads.
@@SmoknJaysGarage I reload mine maybe the gun is really picky on ammo. it really seems to depend on the bullets
@@SmoknJaysGarage I might have confused part of the brass for the projectile
I had the exact same one. Had it less than one winter and traded it in. The plastic drive gears/wheels for the track drive cracked/snapped into pieces twice. I also had issues with heavy wet snow.

Hell with the stove I want your garage. I also want what's outside of it. Where did I go wrong in life.
All of my "go wrong in life" moments had to do with women.
I can tell everything you’re whining about. You’re just a girly man. It’s a damn good rifle. I got one haven’t had a problem with it and if you’re kind of country boy, the book sites are just fine.
@RobertSmith-pi3lx interestingly enough, TONS of people are having issues with the 454. Glad there's one that works though.
I paid about 350 for mine. Fantastic gun no complaints
My loads out of lyman are faster than i expected 2200 fps 400 grain gaschecked hard cast
Mine is 5 years old now shoot. Very accurate 400 grain gaschecked hard cast 2200 fps
@wilmamcdermott3065 I've had mine to the range afew times now. It shoots great. Just like we've come to expect from Winchester.
Thanks for your advice! I just did my rear breaks. It was easy. Also I used a wood clamp to compress the caliper piston. Thanks again.
@@brianorr8868 glad to be of help.
The door and the lever are charasteric of model 92, recoil is what you get for having that round in a 6 pound gun. It is a good gun for zombies and ptotection of bears.
@edharris4202 zombies maybe because they aren't real. But I definitely wouldn't want this gun if there were bears around
thank goodness for the internet, you just saved ma a grand, i will never buy a rossi , thanks brother
@@tonystark-ey5gj same here, I'll never buy another one.
not bad as far as startup volume
I’ve had the same machine for about 4-5 seasons, it definitely works better with deeper snow. My chief complaint with it is that the cable that turns the chute left and right does not stay inside the crank….its almost like it shrunk. Can’t find a new one online, I can only find the cables that raise and lower the chute.
Have you tested the velocity and have you gel tested it
@@bohnhoff346 nope
Changed one side drove it and the grinding noise got louder hope it goes away when I do the other side
The Graphine CS3 is amazing. The shine it leaves behind is very good but it's the lubricity of this product that blows me away. It's a bit pricey but Adams is having 25 percent off a gallon plus you get a free 16oz. spray bottle. Highly recommended product. No, I don't work for Adams I just like to pass along good product experiences!
@roushracing1 I've been using it for over a year now. Still impressed with it.
Just use isopropyl alcohol if you vape. Works great and its cheap.
@@fffrrraannkk this isn't from vaping. This is a chemical reaction from the plastic in the dash as it heats up and cools down.

I’ve got a boat load of 45 Colt ammo. I’ve yet to decide: buy a gun chambered for 45 Colt, or sell the ammo. God knows I don’t need another pistol.
@christophermead9800 definitely buy the pistol!! Or...maybe a lever gun in 45 colt??
@ Hey, I never thought of a lever gun! Thanks!
Nice machine, and just to clarify it's Cub Cadet, not Club Cadet
That sux sorry to hear about the problems. You should not have to force it to feed. I have one i must have got lucky. Mine runs flawless right out of the box. I did have a problem with spin cocking it but it was never designed to be spin cocked so i cant blame them for that i did modify the lifter and got it to spin cock reliably. Hope you get it resolved if you havent already.
@@A.R.American1 no luck getting it to work better. But I have heard a lot of people that had the issue and some that cycle fine. So I think it's pretty hit and miss
@SmoknJaysGarage I am thinking you are right. If you are close to south east michigan let me know maybe I can help you fix it.
@A.R.American1 I'm in NE Wisconsin. But thanks.
@SmoknJaysGarage ya that's a little ways away lol sorry I ain't driving that far. I dont know anyone up that way either to give ya hand hope you get it figured out.
I am lever gun collector and a gunsmith. I own several original marlins and Winchesters '76, '86, '92 and '94's and my newest one is a 1892 manufactured in 1974... I have 2 Rossi 92's stainless and blued in 357 both 20" barrel and 16" barrel and 2 stainless and blued 92's in 454casull, both 20" barrel... All of my newer Rossi's are really good quality for their price points... my oldest Rossi is an early 357 and it was pretty rough when I got it. After I slicked it up, it is a fine shooter now... For the price of an original Winchester 92 that will bring close to 4k... not really a bump around the truck kind of gun.. But all my Rossi's were well under 1k so they are ones you can take out shoot the heck out of them, drag them through the dirt on the tractor etc... and surprisingly mine have thousands of rounds through them with zero issues... The Rossi's become considerably much smoother actions and easier to load the more they get broken in... I say don't judge them to harshly until you have time to shoot and work the stiffness out of the actions... These are mass produced firearms that are not hand fitted and finished, so they need that break in for them to slick up on their own... or you can find a good gunsmith to slick them up if you don't want to shoot them enough to get them to smooth out.
@kcatto21 i did give this one a second try and an action job. Unfortunately the jams continued. Even only loading 3rds at a time they would consistently jam.
I am having the same issues with my R92 45lc. I subbed you. Thanks for the vid.
